Strengths:Good Components, fork can be ajusted easily.
Weaknesses:Needs Lock-Ons. tires suck(stupid kenda kinetics, upgrade to nokian or maxxis). Brakes are screwy. Rims are heavy. Bike doesnt climb(not that i care about that!)

Bottom Line:Good for your money. some stuff needs to be upgraded. good for beginner-intermediate riders. good on dirt jumps! if youre a dirt jumper or learning to freeride(on a hardtail) this would be a good bike for you.

    Price Paid: $1500.00
    Purchased At:Peadal Shopp Runaway Bay
Strengths:THIS IS FOR THE 2006 SASQUATCH IF SOMEONE READS THIS!!!
Great frame Geo, the bar and the goose neck are truvative, the rukiton cranks, cluster and mech,Hayes Hfx-9 8" rotors!
Weaknesses:the weak SDG seat so blows goats!! the brake lines are way too close to the spokes for my liking! the wussy chain guard that de-stickered itself after being taken from the box! the alivio shifters!! so GAY!!!!
Similar Products Used:Haro 8.1, Norco RYDE, 125, Kona Stuff etc
Bike Setup:at the moment, DJ 4's have 25 pount and standard rebound settings as its a commuter bike untill i can see some dirt! basic setup untill 1 year waranty period ends! but some minor tweaking now to then!!
Bottom Line:the 2006 Sasquatch is a great bike derived from a history of building great bikes, Norco in 2006 have built a massive frame that doesnt sound tinny as most others do and have used some impressive and some let down compoenents! i would say as being a well educated rider in both street and in the dust that this bike will hold whatever i can dish! overall if anyone wants a great bike for a moderate cash exchange, spend a little more on a better seat the SDG blows but the bike is all balls!!!

Weaknesses:rims, brakes, headset, grips, pedals, derailler
    Similar Products Used:kona stuff

stock: Norco 2002 sasquatch frame(medium), rear wheel(mx 22's, formula disc hub), cassettes, crankset, bb, seatpost, handlebar, shifters, housing, cables, front tire(kenda)
Bottom Line:nice frame, recommended for learners/beginners willing to do urban/freeride(stock setup). very maneuverable, but the stock front hayes hmx-1's mech. disc brakes are horrible, change it immediately. the grips are alright but they wear out too quick, but the bottom line is that it is a great bike and i reccomend it too every one who wants to do city, urban, freeride

    Favorite Trail:Arran
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $1200.00
    Purchased At:Alpine bikes
Strengths:Bombproof frame, Z1 forks, truative crankset
Weaknesses:Rear 'v' (c'mon), bar/stem, tyres (terrible on wet concrete), brake levers.
    Similar Products Used:Kona Roast
Bike Setup:Stock Norco with Easton bar, Funn stem, Tioga DH tyres.
Bottom Line:This bike is amazing for the price but why do manufacturers' persist with mech discs when people would rather pay extra for hydros. If you can buy just the frame and forks, do it and build the rest. You can then have a bike which would whip the Orange msile for less than $1500. A great buy for urban jumpers or crazy freeriders who don't mind the extra upgrade work. Build on!!

Strengths:THE FRAME IS LIKE A ROCK!!!Very good z1 wedge when you stiff it up.Good crank(TruVative Hussefelt). Front brake is a little noisy but after the break in period it kicks asses. The rims are not bad. The color is sandblower silver(very rare)In overall this bike is for some hardtails riders dont want to spend all money for a bike but for upgrade it only!!
Weaknesses:The STEM is verry BAD and the bar sux the screws loose.
    Similar Products Used:none
Bike Setup:Funn Henchman Stem, Funn fatboyslim bar, wellgo pedals, Sandblower silver frame not glossy black!!!!!(color)

Bottom Line:At the time of purchase this is a sick bike for the price. As stuff breaks, buy newer and better parts, until u get the ultimate bike.

    P.S. Buy many lizard Skins

This bike is made for urban ridin, holds up to anything, I have over 15,000km in under a year, if it can handle me it can handle u. But...can u handle it????

Strengths:Solid Frame, Componests do the job, Nice Forks, Looks Great, Nice to at least have one disk
Weaknesses:RIMS SUCK, I bend them just about every ride and im only 150, i keep getting flats too, forks are too squishy and bottom out on drops/jumps above 4 feet
    Similar Products Used:Kona Stuff
Bike Setup:Stock but with an old innertube wrapped around the stay on the chain side to keep the chain from hitting
Bottom Line:This Bike has been a source of endless frustration for me but after all the work getting it back in one piece after a ride, its a beauty to bomb thru just about anything on. Buy this bike if u love to free ride but cant go in for a really expensive hardtail, but u should have lots of spare time to fix it in

Strengths:Strong, sturdy bike for beginners, good specs (Wedge fork, Hayes mech disc, etc)
