But dont take it off huge jumps. I took it off a 18 foot gap jump and bent my wheel. Now im buying a norco sasquatch. The best part of the bike is the fork. The tires have lots of grip but fill with mud. If ur doing jumps and drops dont expect it to last a day. Its disappointing only riding a bike for 2 months and then buying a new one. cant wait for the sasquatch.Oh yeah and the price is 700$ canadian. Happy riding. I've had a blast riding it , and except for the front derailluer (hard to shift even with tune-ups/maitenence), it's a great ride as it took anything I threw at it (lots of climbing, windy and rocky descents, small jumps of 2-3 feet). The fork (suntour) is weak, but ate up much of what was thrown at it. Never had a problem with it whatsoever, even after a few crashes.
I'd say its a great beginner bike, an excellent bike to start upgrading as you go, except for the cost to go up to 9 speed is a bit steep due to all the components that need replacing.
The bike has definitely given me the itch to upgrade it (LX/XT 9 spd and a Pyslo most likely), or pick up a Full-Susp in the summer. | | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |
