    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $700.00
    Purchased At:pinkbike
Strengths:Everything ive broke every part on it but the frame is still mint props to Norco. The blue is sweet it would look awsome with supercycle parts on it.
Weaknesses:needs a 24 on the back for maximum dropage. I know from experience its smoother with a 24 mag 30 and 2.6 nokian gazza on the back.
    Similar Products Used:Norco-Shore,Atomick,250,ignite,A-line
    Balfa-Minutman
Kona-everthing all kona frame designs are the same

Bottom Line:To bad its an 02 because it was prime for its time. Norco should have keep the line going.

Similar Products Used:big hit, atomic, launch
Bike Setup:drop, with 03 monster T, mag 30 rims, maxxis tires, funn stem,.243 bars, mag breaks, and much muchmore

    Favorite Trail:rock solid
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $400.00
    Purchased At:friend(frame only)
Strengths:Ok.En francais?
    Similar Products Used:Plein de doubles
Bike Setup:dnm usd 180,26/24, hussfelt full xt.

Submitted by Herb a Downhiller from Belleville, Ont, Canada
    Date Reviewed: September 7, 2003
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:Strong frame ( I bought it frame only and built the bike up from there).
Weaknesses:The frame is very noisy. If you seatpost creaks, you'd swear the entire bike is falling apart because the creak is echoed and amplified through the frame. Solution -> Keep your bike maintained you lazy ass!
Similar Products Used:Brodie thumper, Giant ac1, RM pipeline, Kona stinky & stab, Specialized big hit DH
Bike Setup:'03 super T pro, 02' shore swing link (boosts travel to 6.1"), Block 8 cranks, Magura Gustav's, Singletrack wheels
Bottom Line:Well, I've gotta hand it to norco, because they have built a tough frame that can handle me. I'm 6'2" and 220lbs, and after a year of beating (urban, dh, freeride), the frame still works like the day I built it up. The component spec from norco is awesome for the $$ of the bike as well. I also have to give norco props for supporting the freeride scene, and for thanking the people who are riding their bikes (I'm talking about VPS fest @ Whistler). I'm truely happy with the bike.

    Date Reviewed: July 13, 2003
    Favorite Trail:sumas
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $1999.00
    Purchased At:Bike shop
    Strengths:Strong frame, good shifting
Weaknesses:Fork, shock, tires, rims. The fork was really easy to bottom when i got it so i put some 10 weight oil in it and that made it better. The shock has no adjustments on it and the rebound is way to fast. Tires wash out in any wet conditions. I put a michelin 2.8 up front and that works really well. The rims are horrible. They are good because i never got a pinch flat with them but they did not hold up on any drops or jumps. I had them trued 5 times before i finally put new rims on. I didnt really like the handle bars either but that is a personal preference thing.
    Similar Products Used:tested a stinky.
Bike Setup:michelin up front stock kenda in back, double tracks, answer pro taper handle bar, radical stem, everything else is stock.
Bottom Line:Its an o.k bike. The bike shop that put it together had no clue what they were doing so that probably made a difference too. I like the bike now it handles drops over ten feet on a weekly basis. Also its not bad to dirt jump. I got it for a good price thats why i bought it and im happy with it now that i have new rims and tires. bottom line the bike is good for the price but if you are a freerider that goes big buy something better than this.

Strengths:Got to love those sweet 8 inches of disk brake. The bomber in the front is amazing also.
Weaknesses:That the front chain rings are so small, Would benifit huge for a chain tentioner. Plus the shimano and sram set up does not shift as smooth as it shout and hits the frame frequently. That stupid grip shift and rapid fire combo.
Similar Products Used:stinky, which did not measure up as high and i returned it!
Bike Setup:everything is pretty much stock except I am currently upgrading to a dual crow and a chain tentioner.
Bottom Line:This is an amazing bike. Great for free riding and those lighter downhillers. The bike meets and exceeds expectation. I would buy it again at twice the price. It glides downhill and is smoth as butter on ten foot hits.
Buy this over the stinky!! It is better value and it just works better.
