    Date Reviewed: January 13, 2007
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $550.00
    Purchased At:Cheap Skates
Strengths:Good cheap intro soft-tail beginer bike
Weaknesses:Not designed for too much extreme riding. Broke on my first 5 foot drop after 2 years of riding. Handle bars broke around the same time cranks broke about a year earlier.
Bottom Line:You have to pay money for quality. 550$ usd will get you very little quality brand new. Good for beginners but when you start taking drops over 4 feet it's a good idea to get a beefier bike. Norco did send me a new Manik frame which was awesome for free.

    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $800.00
    Purchased At:bungays
    Strengths:Worked the first day.
    Weaknesses:The whole bike.
Bottom Line:the bottom line is this bike is a huge waste of money. I olny waight 110 lbs and right now i have a piece of metal where the rear shock is soposed to be because i hace snaped it at least 3 times. countless times i have broken the rear derailer, bent thr "reinforsed" handelbars. All this was not done on 20 foot drops the largest i have ever done was a 5 foot. the people that should buy it would be poser bikers that olny wwant to have a nice looking bike for the street.

Strengths:ummmmm...... it looks cool. The seat's comfy, and the the back shock is nice. The rapid fires are sweet.
Weaknesses:lets see, the frame is very weak, the front shock has bad travel, the rear derailleur catches into the spokes. I bent the frame at the rear hagner once, and than snapped the frame in two, it only took Norco 8 months to replace!!! The handle bars bend rather easily too.

Bike Setup:The stock 2002 Norco Screamer
Bottom Line:If u like biking hard and hitting drops bigger than 5 feet, dont get this bike, u'll just break it and spend lots of money on it. I recieved a 2004 frame after snapping my 2002 in half and i just broke it, after 3 weeks! If all u do is bike in trails and hit the odd drop and some jumps, than i may recomend this bike to u.

Bottom Line:its good for riding and jumpin but the back shock is not so good its a good bike or a beginner

    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $500.00
    Purchased At:Cheapskates
Strengths:Frame and rear suspension(because it doesent spring back up and flip u over the handel bars when u land 5 foot jumps or drops
Weaknesses:The stock capa cl...i baught some sweet ass Rock shox JUDY TT with 5 inch travel that work awsome in all conditions and improve the smoothness of the ride, easyer to land with out bottoming them out and they are lighter than the cappa cl
Similar Products Used:Not really simmalar its the only other shock bike iv had since mu infinity hardrock
Bike Setup:Rock Shox JUDY TT,and the rest is stock...
Bottom Line:Buy new front suspension and ur fine with this perfect bike for beginers or pro's like my idol KINRAD off of drop in and i founf the best deal was the 2003 Judy TT's for 200 $ plus tax 230$..worked great....and the rims should be replaced after about 4 months cuz that when they start to warp..BEST BIKE IV EVR HAD WELL UNTIL I GET ENOUGH FOR A 4X4...

    Favorite Trail:My own
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $575.00
    Purchased At:Darlings Island Bike Shop
Strengths:This bike has a sweet frame and the look of it is pimpin. I took it down some hard trails and Norco lived up to their name. I also droped it 3 feet on my shore trial with no problems.
Weaknesses:The front fork is a lil week but you can easily get a nice Marzocchi on E-bay 4 that.
Bike Setup:Stock but ordered my Bombers
Bottom Line:This is my favourite bike. Its strong and sturdy and very cusomizable. The best part is the price. If u want a good ride and ur just gettin in the grove or you know wat all the specs mean and it suits you then this bike is for you.

    Price Paid: $220.00
    Purchased At:Chain
Strengths:Frame is nice and sturdy. most parts put on the bike are made to last quite awhile.
Weaknesses:Front forks and back shock. cant put a rock guard on the crank.
    Similar Products Used:ccm matrix
Bike Setup:Marzocchi Super T Pro front forks, Marzocchi Boss VR rear shock, Shimano Hydro disc brakes fornt and back, XTR shifters and brakes
Bottom Line:It is a great bike for a person who is just geting into a full suspension bike and does not wanna pay much. If your like me buy the bike for $220 and suit it up like i did then your looking ot alot of coin. When u first get the bike it ant suited for any extream riding.

    Favorite Trail:Vapour in Kelowna
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $400.00
    Purchased At:Sun Country Cycle
Strengths:Good suspension for a person who is just getting into a full suspension bike. It has good parts that will hold for a long while! Great price and frame is really unique. I added new crank, forks(SID's),handel bars, pedals, stem and grips.
Weaknesses:The front forks arn't great and same with the back shox. The crank set can't get a rock guard. Not ment for hard core downhill trails!
Similar Products Used:The CCM with rock shox suspension.
Bike Setup:Rock Shox SID,Crow bar handel bars,Azonic pedals, oily coloured stem,Pro design grips and all the other parts that origanaly came with the bike.
Bottom Line:Great bike for a person who wants to get into a full suspension bike that does not want to pay over a grand (canadian) it has many great parts that will last a long time and it has a cool frame. If you are a rider that likes to go of 4 foot drops and get big air I would not buy it. I give it a three because of all the origanal parts that are on it.

    Price Paid: $609.00
    Purchased At:tnt bicycles
Strengths:this bike can really take intense trails and big jumps if u know how to use it right. the frame would be its strong point
Weaknesses:its weaknesses would have to be its front shock. the RST CAPA CL is not enough to take the harder trails
    Similar Products Used:dunno
Bike Setup:for $609 canadian, you will get a lot out of this bike. the frame is very strong and sturdy but what it needs is a better. I would put sunyours or if you can afford it, bombers
Bottom Line:The bottom line is that it nedd a lot better Front shock. Capa CL is just not gonna do it.

Weaknesses:I think it's the front shock the Capa CL it freezes up when it gets cold so i have to ride it on warm day for it to work.
Similar Products Used:I have uesd nothing like this awsom bike

    Favorite Trail:Hartland
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $600.00
    Purchased At:Russ Hays
Strengths:the strenght's for this bike is that it can handle about 4-5 feet if you know how to handle it right and land it right.
Weaknesses:The weakness of this bike is that it's not made for big jump's like 6-7 feet but!, you can go on hard trials and go off of 5 feet jumps i have this bike and ive taken it on the expert trail on hartland and it did the job.
    Similar Products Used:dunno
    Bike Setup:front suspension(sr suntor)back suspension(RST 40A) 2 or three bar linkage in the back.
Bottom Line:The bottom line is that the norco screamer is not a big jumping bike but it can handle the 5 and below jumps if you do it right and it can handle very hard corses so i would give this a 4 out of 5 because the front shocks are not that good. Me personally im replacing them with Mazzochi Bombers Z.1, Z.2, Z.3, Z.4, Z.5.
