$600.00 | | Strengths: | tough as nails, crash after crash, flat hard drop after flat hard drop, and no breakages, rims never bend.awesome rims! frame is sooo solid. | | Weaknesses: | wears out after three years of abuse. once in a while the chain gets sucked between the tire and the chainstay. stiff rear shock, but to solve that get someone big to ride it a bit and loosen that up. | | Bike Setup: | fsa bash guard added, higher rise bars added, new crankset | | Bottom Line: | its a tough bike that takes the abuse. good for beginner to almost intermediate riders, but will wear down after a while, and will get grown out of skill wise for sure. but for a bit more money you could buy yourself a solid hardtail. the rear susp on the fury isnt that good, not much diff than a hardtail | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |

The tyres, I recently had a painful experience cos of them, they have no grip. Even when i lock up the front wheel it skids. Weighs quite a bit considering what's on it. | | Similar Products Used: | Infinity Quantum | | Bike Setup: | Upgraded to Boxxers on the front, soon upgrading to maxis tyres and rear spring. | | Bottom Line: | Good bike for value but the bad things about the bike out way the good. The best thing I ever did for this bike was flat landing a 10ft drop onto flat land cement which loosened the spring a little bit, at least it now has about 1/2 an inch of sag as oppose to none. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I have crashed more than an intelevision and it seems the bike only scratches and never breaks. That is what I wanted; something tough. | | Weaknesses: | Heavy bugger she is! When you get the feeling you can jump that log like a Drop In rider...you cant! Its easier to raise the Titanic than this from any slow speed. Components are good but of course could be better but that is where upgrades come in. Other than, what I paid for and what I got were pretty equal. | | Similar Products Used: | Been out of the scene for a while so if you consider a 1990 Premier from Montreal a ride than... | | Bike Setup: | Stock but for sure a better sponge in the front would be good and probably some harder tires to maneuver better would be appropriate. Gonna upgrade forks and rear shock for some hardcore riding. | | Bottom Line: | This is just a update on the status of the bike now that I've had some more time with it. So far it's holding up quite well all the components are in great order and the frame has no problems. I've been hucking this bike in urban areas as high as 6-7 feet on flat and the only thing that gave out is the rear wheel , the spokes had loosened, but bring it to a shop and it's as good as new.In addition the chainwheel sucks the chain in between it and the frame on hucks, a chain tensioner may be added to prevent that. Also the cranks loosened but it can be tightened. So in conclusion besides all of those minor problems this bike is grade A. | | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |

the tires are great and big!(2.3"), but they rub against the rear frame making a wizzzzzzzing sound when i ride. i also love my stem, actually what stem. the thing is so short...great for DH! i have to admitt, as much as they give me problems, the haynes discs are awesome. those alex rims are an asset. | | Weaknesses: | a little too heavy (approx. 38lbs.) for my first full suspension ride... 1.i hate the first while with the haynes mechanical disc brakes because they f*ck up all the time(sqeek sqeek)...they alway need a bit of adjusting. 2. my chain will not quit smackin' up against my bottom rear triangle. 3.and why do i always hear my seat creeking, even when im not sitting. 4.i cant figure out if the bike will accept a bash gaurd or not...the bolt configuration is abnormal. 5.bottoming out both shocks is a common occurance, but is easily fixable...buy better components! | | Similar Products Used: | infinity quantum and a 2001 GT i-drive 6.0 !! | | Bike Setup: | stock except for new aluminum platform pedals which look like meat tenderizers (note: get shin gaurds), and Setlaz (kevlar reinforced) black/red seat | | Bottom Line: | A great bike for the price i paid...i would have probably gotten the small instead of the medium if i had a choice.

The frame is constructed of 7005 aluminum so the frame is strong, I've had no real incident with it but im not a real hard rider. The bike gots hayes disc brakes in the front for good stopping power. | | Weaknesses: | The rock shox juddy tt that comes with the bike bottoms out kinda fast and the chain smacks on the rear triangle chipping the paint(a common thing). I'd reccamend buying a chain guard to preserve your paint. | | Similar Products Used: | Infinity Quantum | | Bike Setup: | Stock set up. | | Bottom Line: | It's a great bike to buy if your not looking for anything really extravagant but will perform very well. This bike is great for XC but I beleive it can handle some DH action.

Good if you are not wanting too spend much money all at once, but want to slowly upgrade and replace componentry.
Nice ride, and not bad for riding around the city if you dial the forks up a bit.
Some problems were: When I got it, the brake pads were just touching the disk, but that is easily fixed.
