Strengths:
Very bright and well made light. Not sure about the battery/holder. The three electrical contacts could be a problem if they get wet or dirty.
Weaknesses:
The charger is setup for 2 or 3 different sized batteries. As such, the 600 pro battery fits loosely, and making sure it is in good electrical contact with the charger is a pain. The charger has several leds mounted on a circuit board with light pipes to the case. There is enough light leakage that it's difficult to see which light is on, and which of off. Finally, while charging the battery for the first few times, the error light came on, and I don't know if it stopped charging or not. The slightest bump and the charging indicators go from half charged to full charged. Not the kind of engineering I would expect from what should be a top notch light.
Similar Products Used:
Niterider Sol and Niterider TriNewt.
Bike Setup:
Road, mounted on the bars.
Bottom Line:
The charger seems to be much lower quality than the light. Charger needs a spacer so the smaller batteries fit into it securely.
