Strengths:
suspension works well
Weaknesses:
inferior metallurgy (2003 model); frame broke at two welds w/ no undue stress; parts pick wears out quickly
Bike Setup:
upgraded from OEM: Manitou Black, XT crank, Hayes Mech discs, Deore/SunDS-2 wheelset, Prodigy stem, Titec bar
Bottom Line:
this bike, once upgraded, worked extremely well -- until the frame snapped! I don't get air, and have only had minimal trail time on this beast. When the frame broke, my heart broke with it -- $700 is a piece of change to drop for one year's use!
