Submitted by Franke a Weekend Warrior from Gympie
Date Reviewed: June 11, 2008
Favorite Trail:Chatsworth ... you all dont know where it is haha
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $650.00
Purchased At:Pedal Power
Strengths:I think the frame is strong (it didnt break on me), Shifts ok, cranks, my derailur got killed and it still seems to be working ok.
Weaknesses:The bars (i snapped in 2 ... easily, was very scary), stem (all the bolts stripped when i broke the bars), folks, grips, brakes, peadals (really need to be sharper), tyres, chain and it weighs as much as some DH bikes ... its a tank
Similar Products Used:07 STP1
Bike Setup:stock ... untill i broke half of the parts. Now the proud owner of a glory DH1 and 07 STP1
Bottom Line:Good for beginers with a shallow pocket, but if you the slightest bit serious ... Dig a bit deeper and get a Giant STP, cant go wrong there. This one has cost me just as much to fix it as it did to buy in the first place
