Submitted by Meg a Weekend Warrior from somewhere, FL, USA
Date Reviewed: March 11, 2002
Favorite Trail:huh?
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $300.00
Purchased At:knights bikes
Strengths:light compared to my Huffy and my boyfriend's full suspension rock. The big saddle for my J-Lo butt.
Weaknesses:At its first convenience it bodyslammed me in front of my boyfriend and a group of other weekend warriors.
Similar Products Used:any two wheeled bike
Bike Setup:changed to quickfire shifters and panaracer tires. 100 percent improvement for not much more money.
Bottom Line:I like it for a starter bike. the next one I get will have front suspension.

Date Reviewed: April 26, 2001
Favorite Trail:anything fast and steep
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $180.00
Purchased At:dicks sporting goods
Strengths:sweet rigid frame. big frame with top tube bend to accomodate the short crotched man.
Weaknesses:super cheap crank,promax brakes,suspension seatpost(junk)
Similar Products Used:12 year old Jamis Diablo rigid mtn bike.(state of the art in 1988, a boat anchor in todays mtn bike world)
Bike Setup:Now!!! It's super sweet sugino 700 crank, avid sd10 brakes, shimano XT brake/shift combo (8spd) had to use travel agents to make work. Sweet maxxis worm drive kevlar beaded tires great on the road with 60psi. city sport pedals one side flat for sneakers, other side spd.
Bottom Line:This is one of the sweetest rigid bikes ive ever ridden. By no means is this ready for the trails (too stiff) great commuter bike or for any paved or dirt road training. excellent for working on your cadence, and stamina. a good alt to a road bike.
