Date Reviewed: June 13, 2001
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1400.00
Purchased At:supergo
Strengths:Frame, wheelset, front shock, low cost
Weaknesses:seatpost, Wildgripper Jet tires are lightweight but perform poorly going downhill on sandy/rocky/desert single track
Similar Products Used:Specialized M2pro
Bike Setup:Raceface stem and seatpost, Monkeylite carbon flat bar, the rest standard that came with bike
Bottom Line:I love this bike. Though it's weight is the same as my specialized aluminum hard tail (about 23lbs), it feels lighter, and is more responsive. I like the Wildgripper Jet tires (semislick) for the rides on the road to the trailhead, but for downhill on rocky/desert trails they are bad. All in all this is a great bike for the price. I am very satisfied with it. It feels like this is just the right bike for me. It is an excellent XC bike, but I would not use it for serious downhill, unless the tires were changed to big knobby.

Favorite Trail:otis
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1500.00
Purchased At:supergo
Strengths:frame, front shock and crank. Oh and the price.
Weaknesses:shifters, front deraillor and wheelset, my local bike shop is put out (rightfully so.) Supergo advertised this bike with W.T.B laser cross country wheelset. What they sent was the speed wheelset , basically a piece of garbage. When I asked for the wheelset that was advertised they gave me a big run around. Supergo you suck !!!!
Similar Products Used:klein mantra, diamondback wcs, trek, specialized.
Bike Setup:chris king wheelset mavic 517 ceramic, xtr gruppo
Bottom Line:best deal in titanium, airborne can't beat this deal. I know I checked.Rides very predictable, easy to find balance,
