$200.00 | | Purchased At: | ebay | | Strengths: | stiff frame, even for my 6'3" 200# carcass. fit and finish was supprisingly good. quality welds and drop-outs. seems to be a better deal than comparable bikes by other manuf. | | Weaknesses: | poor build on the rims. had to spend some time evenly tightening and re-truing both rims before ever riding. that could be the reason so many others complain about rims taco-ing so soon | | Similar Products Used: | this is the first cruiser i have bought but i tried out everything i could find before buying. redline, powerlite, GT, etc. got this one when 01' bikes came out which is why it was only $200. | | Bike Setup: | velo crossbow seat, primo tenderizers, AC brake booster, cut about 1 1/2" off each end of bars. | | Bottom Line: | good all-around cruiser. fast on the track, fun on the street. good value. if not for the crap-construction on the wheels would be perfect. no sealed bearings anywhere from the factory. but for 200 what do you expect? | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
