$450.00 | | Purchased At: | Dan's BMX | | Strengths: | The frame is light and strong. Really stiff in the bottom bracket, but rides smooth. The top tube is a little long for my taste, but I have never cracked my kneecaps, so it's good. The light weight of the frame makes it real easy to make midair adjustments over jumps. | | Weaknesses: | The white pant looks great when it's new, but it's real easy to scratch and ding. once you do, it starts looking like crap quick. | | Similar Products Used: | You name it - Rampar, Raleigh, and DG to Fit, Hoffman, and Haro. | | Bike Setup: | Stock frame, fork and stem | Redline 4 piece aluminum fluted bars | Philwood hubs on Pro Class 3 rims | A'ME grips | Profile 3pc cranks | Mongoose Chainsaw 45t Sprocket | Odyssey Tenderizer pedals | Trek MTB post w/internal Y gusset | Mongoose seat | Shimano canti brakes | Dia-Compe lever | whatever tires I have laying around | | Bottom Line: | I bought this as a frame/fork/stem kit, so I cannot comment on the component quality, but this is a good solid frame for a rider that just likes to get out and goof around. Maybe not for hardcore dirt or ramp jumping; I wouldn't be pulling 30 foot doubles on it regularly, but for semi-casual riding or amateur racing it will last you as long as you want to keep it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$50.00 | | Purchased At: | second off some kid | | Strengths: | Bloody strong from , never had a problems with this 20 something year old frame.Rides like a dream, fast, turns really well at any speed. Very Light. | | Weaknesses: | Wheels will die before the fame. Hards getting parts to fits at times. IE new fishbone stem had to be machined to fit frame. Front original forks had very tight drop outs! | | Similar Products Used: | raleigh Pro burner which got nicked, loved that bike as well. | | Bike Setup: | Original , supergoose frame and forks with pads. Pro Lite wheels with them bubbles in the rims, MX side pulls with quick release, goose sadle, Renthal steel bars and seat post, MX stem, mongoose 1 piece crank with detachable chain ring. Now same frame and forks, 3 piese super durillium crank, fishbone stem, Raleigh 610 weinmann centre pull back brake, MS dirt bars, renthal steel seat post, goose frame pad, front 48 radial ali rim, lased 48 ali back, selle nice and comfy seat. | | Bottom Line: | This is a GREEN 1984 ish bike, Never seen another green supergoose apart from mine and believe me ive searched! Always turns old skool heads, and new skool as well. Love this bike to bit and id kill the person who nicked it if I caught them. Rides like a old skool Pro Burner. Good for trails and such. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
