Date Reviewed: July 12, 2009
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $400.00
Purchased At:Chain reaction cycle
Strengths:Hard frame I have been using theis bike now for a little over 5 years now and have not had any problems with frame. Good gear shifters. Nic tyres that come with it
Weaknesses:This product will start to have a lot of weakness when you take it off road I have had to replace rear cassete rear hub both pedals tyres tubes crank. This bik could have better brakes that come with it as the ones that cone ith it build up wth dirt and grease and oil very heavy
Similar Products Used:Moongoose stormer
Bike Setup:Standard
Bottom Line:I have been using this bike for a number of years. I reckon it is a good bike for very easy trails that don't hav many rocks. This bike is the perfect bike for teens who don't ride much but when they do ride, ride rails

Submitted by Chris a Weekend Warrior from Auckland, New Zealand
Date Reviewed: November 4, 2005
Favorite Trail:Gunna Gotta, Redwood Forest, Rotorua
Duration Product Used:Tested or demo'ed only
Strengths:A great all-purpose bike, great value, low crossbar (saved me many times), lots of fun
Weaknesses:Suspension is easy to bottom out, heavy
Bottom Line:Great value, at $350 NZD new and $100 NZD 4 years old. A lot of fun, can be ridden almost anywhere, good control and shocks absorb nearly every bump. Unfortunately, they bottom out when ridden hard, and the low crossbar is a blessing when that happens. This bike is mostly for the learner mountain biker instead of the hard-riding experts. It has a tendancy to unclip the brake cables at odd times, but shortening the cable will keep it in check. Has taken all my crashes with only tiny problems (chain coming off, etc.) but otherwise no problems. One other problem is that when the chain comes off, it occasionally gets jammed between the sprockets and the frame, bringing the pedals to a complete halt. Easy to fix, though.

Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $125.00
Purchased At:TRAK Cycles
Strengths:This bike has no strenghts because it is a piece of absolute junk that will break not long after you get it
Weaknesses:This bike is one big weakness especially the front shocks that will bottom out when ever you go over enything
Similar Products Used:Mongose Rockadile LE
Bottom Line:This bike is a pile of junk that I would not recomend to anybody at all so save yourself some money and dont buy it or even look at it.
