Favorite Trail:wilderness loop
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $30.00
Purchased At:Bicycle Sport
Strengths:its great for the the ever wet mogs that never dry out. not only the soup like stuff, but the tacky-stick-to-your-tires clay that is found anywhere their building houses or have taken the top soil. i have taken these tires everywhere. local trails, farm hopping out at home, terrorizing a nieghborhood, running around town, even repeated times on beaches and georgia marsh. heck ive raced on these things.
Weaknesses:wear kind of quick, but with the kind of rideing i do, which kind wouldnt.
Similar Products Used:jones AC
Bike Setup:trek 4500, dirt jump set up. rim brakes. deore drivetrain.
Bottom Line:great tires for the money, perfect for the go anywhere do anything kind of rider. wheither its a race, urban assualt, or spending the day on the trails and farm. if you are a pro racer, well, there are better tires for raceing.

Date Reviewed: May 26, 2003
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Cheaper than you would expect
Look Good
Work quite well on loose stuff
Weaknesses:none at the moment
Similar Products Used:Tioga Factory XC 1.95
Bike Setup:GT Hardtail, LX/XT, Marz Forks
Bottom Line:I went for these tires after I wore out the Tioga's because the tioga tires were after a while really breaking down fast. Once the first few nob's came of, the rest quickly followed suit. So far I've had no problems with this happening with these tires.

I have however had a little trouble with them when it comes to gripping/cornering on roads, but I'm willing to deal with that since they work so well offroad.
