$130.00 | | Strengths: | very good looking, weigth is not bad for the price, it rolls very nice, and smoothly | | Weaknesses: | the Rim got broken very easily, I were expected something more stiff and resitant from Mavic... | | Similar Products Used: | old mavic, don't remember the model | | Bike Setup: | Trek 8500 w/ Reba Race | | Bottom Line: | Kind of cheap, good looking, rolls very very good...
The rim is not very resistend... not if you like going down hard... | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Encino Date Reviewed: August 3, 2009 | | Favorite Trail: | Any place with redwoods | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Price Paid: |
$109.00 | | Purchased At: | REI | | Strengths: | Strong, way less flex than my old Mavic/Shimano setup. I think they look really cool. Disk brake compatible. | | Weaknesses: | Heavier than the non-disc compatible Mavic/Shimano assembly these wheels replaced. | | Bike Setup: | 1998 Schwinn Home-Grown S_20 Carbon stock except for the Crossride wheelset, Avid Elixir CR | | Bottom Line: | Great upgrade.
Rocks no longer deflect the wheels, they either roll over them or spit them out of the way.
Well worth the money. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
