Strengths:strength and durability...i have done some hucks and pleanty downhill with these forks and what a set of forks they are! very strong for being QR infact one of the sturdiest set of forks i have used. the travel on them NEVER bottoms out no matter what your doing! oh and there fiarly light so quite versitile.
Weaknesses:they do need serviced fairly regularly if your doing harsh riding but to be honest what forks dont!
Similar Products Used:jr t 06 with bolt thru axle, 888rc2, 66's, RST gilla t6:P
Bike Setup:when i had these forks they were being used on a trek vrx 400 (2000 model) and had halo SAS wheels. what a rig, excellent freeride/downhill machine:P
Bottom Line:excellent pair of forks! one of the cheapest pairs of tripples you will get and the value for money with them is outstanding as there near enough bomb proof! i would reccomend the 06 model though if the budget can stretch.

Strengths:Cheap, Big travel, Good budget/beginner DH fork, Fills a niche
Weaknesses:SSVF really goes downhill on anything over 5"
Similar Products Used:SuperT, Monster, ShiverDC, ShiverSC, Dorado, DJ1
Bike Setup:'02 Bullit/Avy, '99 Monster, M4
Bottom Line:Got it when I was getting into DH and didn't know any better. It does give you a lot of travel but the quality of the travel isn't very good. Simple damping system results in hydralic lockout or 'spiking' when too much oil tries to flow through very quickly. I'd take a 6" older SuperT any day over it, which is what I replaced it with after a few months.

Purchased At:stock on big hit pro
Strengths:It works great with no hassles. Price is good as well as performance. Low maintenance.
Weaknesses:I along with all of my friends had to change to heavier weight oil (10 weight instead of the stock 7.5) I also changed out the top set of springs to heavy ones. Now it works awesome! With zero preload it works great on the fast rough downhills and with about 7 turns of preload it is great for big hucks 6-8 ft. F.Y.I. I weigh 175 lbs. I was always bottoming out with the stock springs and oil. Even just on steep downhills when I was braking.

Bottom Line:This fork works great and it is a great value. Make sure you check all the bolts on a regular basis!

Strengths:let me take a deep breath, as the list goes on. firstly i am at collage and so dont have a full time job, there for i struggle to fund mountain biking, and afford bikes which will cope with the abuse that i throw at them. my point being the price of these forks, i feel that these forks are soo smoothe and sooo plush for the money, they cope with the little and medium stuff with ease, and they still even love the big stuff. i feel that these forks "feel" as good as top end forks such as bokkers, shivvers e.t.c. thus making them extremely good value for money. finaly other people find they have alot of flex in them but mine are set at 6"/150mm of travel and i must say i have never noticed it. one more thing is the strength, whilst i have ha these i have broke a set of cranks, a seat, a stem, a bottom bracket, a collar bone, two wheels have been folded and two rear mechs have gone through the back wheel but the Jnr t's survive no matter what. (for example a near20 ft drop near where i live has cost many parts and injurys, but the forks live to tell the tale

Favorite Trail:Wasatch Trail
Duration Product Used:6 months
Purchased At:Anchorage, Alaska
Strengths:Feels very plush and smooth over big hits. Also quite light weight, so its easy to lift front end.
Weaknesses:I twisted my arch slightly, and I dont even consider myself to be an aggresive rider. Infact, I ride as much if not more on rocky cross country trails than I do downhill. Cost $107 to replace the arch at the Marzoc. factory. Dont know how this happened - I havent had any major wrecks. Its too fragile for a 7 inch travel fork.
Similar Products Used:Never ridden with a heavier or longer travel fork
Bike Setup:2002 Rocky Mountain RM7 Freeride - stock except for 2.5 and 2.8 inch Michellin slow rebound tires.
Bottom Line:If you weigh at least 150 pounds I would suggest going with a fork which has larger diameter stanchions than the 2002 Jr. T. The 2003 has 32mm stanchions, but if you want a fork that will really be more likely to last under moderate to hard (agressive) riding, than consider the Shiver or Monster T. I plan to upgrade to one of those eventually.

Bottom Line:If you do drops, jumps and anything bighit-wise, this fork is good. Start going downhill over 20 mph and hit a few bumps and it spikes. It feels like it's bottoming out but it isn't. I drilled a couple of holes in the "damper" rod and it had no affect. I'm selling it and getting an '03 Super T. Still, what do you expect for the price?

Strengths:- 7" of super plush travel
- Cheaper and better than many similar forks with less travel
- The best fork to buy if you are a downhiller on a low budget (like myself)
- Maintenance and servicing (you can replace almost every single part of the fork)
- The seals are great (not one drop of oil so far)
Weaknesses:- A bit flexy but you don't feel it too much when you're rididng
- It should come with 20mm thru axle standard (maybe it would take some of the flex off
- Internal rebound adjustment (having to take off the top caps every time you want to adjust the rebound and use a "fishing" rod to do it? Nigga, please!! The worst thing is when you adjust it, then ride it, then find out that it's not quite what you wanted and start all over again)
- Takes a bit of time to break-in and have the full 7" of travel (this isn't really a weakness)
Similar Products Used:None comparable, this fork is way beyond those
Bike Setup:Sintesi bazooka DH '99, Junior T Pro '02, Sram 9.0 Disc Brakes '02, Mavic D521 on Hutchinson Jumbo 2.45 tires, Deore transmission, etc... (like i said, i'm a downhiller on a budget)
Bottom Line:If you are looking for a cheap fork for your extreme rides that can handle bighits without having to take it to servicing (or worse) every time you huck more than 4' than the 2002 JrT Pro is the one you have to buy.

Strengths:Can't say enough about this monster of a shock. Awesome strength, durability, quality! You can slam a curb or log at full speed, without feeling a thing. I love the design.
Weaknesses:Heavy, not able to max out to 7 inches yet!
Similar Products Used:All types of Bombers, Rock Shox Boxxer, Lefty shocks.
Bike Setup:Iron Horse, full blown Dh Setup.
Bottom Line:Here it is. This shock will allow you to surpass those limits that seemed to be set. Fear is gone, speed is key here. Downhill has never seen anything like the Jr. T for this price. Super Shock!

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $450.00
Purchased At:Sun Country Cycle
Strengths:Super plush out of the box, stiff, simple (no loads of adjustments that i'd never use anyway), feels "plusher" than super T, or maybe it's just me.
Weaknesses:didn't come stock on my bike.
Similar Products Used:Super T, Shiver DC & SC, DJ 1, Black Elite (peice), Psylo XC
Bike Setup:Devinci Hucker, Race Face NS DH, Blackspire chain guide, LX/XT, Kujo, Michelin, Titec, Magura Julie.
Bottom Line:Paid $600 cdn. for it, so a pretty sweet deal for a 7" travel fork. It felt super smooth straight out of the box, only has gotten plusher. Soaks up all of the bumps better than any fork I have ridden (really an unbiased opinion). Kicks @$$ for dirt jumping, with the right preload set. Soaks up the bad landings. In general a sweet fork.

Strengths:Sooo, sooo plush. And long. And controlled. And beautiful.
Weaknesses:Umm... no hose guides? Oh, and nowhere does it mention that you are not supposed to be running V's on them (I think - correct me if I'm wrong tho')
Similar Products Used:My old RST Hi-5's (giggles to self), numerous single crowns for comparison (psylos, bombers...)
Bike Setup:98 Marin B-17 (there's an AWEFUL lot of them in here!), Stratos Helix Expert, D312s+deore discs, Hope C2, blahblahblah. Do you really care what BB I have? I don't.
Bottom Line:(Got the regular QR version, btw)

Face it, I ride street & StuffIReallyShouldn't but I can't be bothered carting around the extra weight of the properproper DH forks - but these hit the spot just right! As everyone's saying, right out of the box these just feel right - seems like someone must have pre-bedded them in with added "Confidence Booster" or something 'cos they take the hits like Mom used to (if she rode).

For the cashish, theres nothing out there to even get in sight of touching them, let alone coming close... 5!

Now... if only I could get the rear to match the front...

Strengths:Absolutely amazing at this price, they have the quality of forks much higher in price. Out of the box they're great. But then then got even plusher that that. The length of the fork is great for dh. The travel will give you loadsa confidence i garuntee. Just buy them.
Weaknesses:Ah well, although i don't really notice it when riding they flex really bad. I think the qr20 would be good though. I just couldn't be arsed to spash out on a new hub aswell.
Similar Products Used:Hanebrink lt8. I actually prefer they're action above the lt8's but then i guess thats down 2 preference.

Strengths:7" of travel...looks so cool. I think it's pretty stiff for being an extra long travel fork with no thru axle. Front end landings are no problem if you screw up...it can take it. Its also pretty light for a dual crown. Price is definately a strength.
Weaknesses:None yet
Similar Products Used:Z1 MCR, Psylo and a bunch other forks...this is my first dual crown though.
Bike Setup:Giant AC 2, Junior T, Hayes, Shimano, Race Face, Mavic, Primo pedals, Mountain speed
Bottom Line:This fork is just what I needed on my bike. I launch off things with much more confidence now, knowing the fork can take the really big hits and drops. Buy it if your looking for you first dual crown fork.

Strengths:The fork is amazing out of the box, even without having to bed it in it's super plush. With the 170mm travel it soakes up everything you throw at it.
Weaknesses:You can't get it with a 20mm bolt through axle.
Apart from that none.

Bottom Line:Marzocci are amazing i'll never change fork make again.
This fork is great, if you're a beginner or pro buy it you cant go wrong. It has'nt got much ajustability but this makes it easier to operate, who cares when it has the performance and travel of a pro shock. It's got magnesium sliders, 170mm travel loads of space for 3" tyres and disc or v'brake ready. I have been most impressed with the seals as Living in Scotland where it rains half the time I have clearly seen the these great seals in action against the worst of weather.

Weaknesses:A bit on the heavy side. The plushness can feel too soft.

Bottom Line:I bought these forks for £320 and they are worth every penny. Even on my hartail it steers reasonably, this is especially suprising for such a long fork. Buy these forks, they wont let you down (remember to fit the 170mm springs though, and get the stiff ones), they soak up everything you can throw at them. Great value.
