Favorite Trail:whats left of the bow ridge
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $370.00
Purchased At:cambria
Strengths:Strong fork. I know i don't weigh much but it has never bottomed out on me. Not even of a 12 footer. Plush travel, strength, adjustability, and decent turning radius for a tripple crown.
Weaknesses:Price, look around and you can get a good deal.
A little heavy but what do you expect from a tripple crown.
Tends to rebound slow when ridden in winter conditions (just like most other forks).
Similar Products Used:Boxxer, mr T, Manitou
Bike Setup:Cannondale super v 1000, XT drive train, B52 stem, gazzolodi tires, sun double wides.
Bottom Line:This is one of the best freeride forks for those who do not go big like bender and those who still like to give climbing a shot. Everyone complained about the tire clearance, I have a 2.7" gazzy jr. on it and it fits fine. Stanchions do not flex and it never bottoms out. Change springs and oil to suit your weight and you will be fine. I love this fork and would buy another one if I had another bike to put it on.

Submitted by Adam a Downhiller from South Wales, UK
Date Reviewed: December 7, 2000
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $225.00
Purchased At:Second Hand
Strengths:Very plush, not too heavy, good seals.
Weaknesses:Not enough tyre clearance.
Similar Products Used:Rockshox Judy SL, Marzocchi Z3,
Bike Setup:Cheeta DH, Race Face cranks, Shimano Disks, Double Wide rims on XT hubs, IRC Kujo's, Azonic bar + stem.
Bottom Line:Excellent forks (especially at the price I paid!). Very plush and I've only managed to bottom them out once, and that was off a seven foot drop! Probably suited more towards DH, as they are a little too heavy for any other area of riding. Also they are a bit too soft for duel racing. You'll find that all your acceleration is lost from the bobbing (this could be changed by using stiffer springs / heavier oil). Other than faultless!

Bike Setup:Cannadale V700 with cane creak rims, kujo dh 2.35 tires, xtr brakes (trash), azonic shorti dh steam, no name dh handlebars,
Bottom Line:This shock must be made for sissy riders, I broke the crown on it like it was butter, oil was leaking from the fork all the time, couldn't take big hits. For a freeride fork this dog cra_b. My 40mm headshock had more guts than this thing did.

Strengths:Juniors are very plush and nice to ride with if you like a 5inch and a bit travel forks.
Weaknesses:they flex easily, dont have much adjustment without changing the amount of oil in the forks, bottom out of drops easy, cannot fit huge tires into the forks because of the brace
Similar Products Used:manitou x verts

Bottom Line:I raced with them all last season and had no problems with them what so ever. Im a very agressive rider, and what i did to them im suprised there not dust by now.
There a great DH/Freeride fork and all around agressive rider, there great for beginner/ sport DH racing, there not the best for expert/ pro DH racing.

Submitted by Cohiba (the Kamikaze Dude) a Weekend Warrior from Singapore
Date Reviewed: September 5, 1999
Favorite Trail:
Bromont, Que. Canada
Duration Product Used:
less than 1 month
Strengths:
Very stiff and very plush fork. No other fork out there can beat Marzocchi's plushness.
Maintenance requirements are low - you only have to rebuild it once or twice a year depending on your riding style.
Marzocchi says it has 5 inches of travel, but it feels like a whole lot more. This fork was a bargain compared to some of the other dual crown forks out there.
Weaknesses:
The weight of the fork, but the performance gain far outweighs the weight gain.
Can be a bit too plush at times, but if you buy a bomber, you buy it for the plushness and performance.
Similar Products Used:
Rock Shox Judy DH 97'
Manitou 4
Bike Setup:
GT STS-1000 DS frame, w/ Rock Shox Super Deluxe rear shock.
Bottom Line:As I've only had the fork for about 3 weeks, I don't know the performance in the long run, but I'll keep you updated. The Jr. T. is a fork which delivers top performance for the hardcore freeride biker, or for amateur/enthusiast DH use. And the value for money is great. Why pay up to $200 more for the Mr. T. when you can get almost the same performance with the Jr. T.? Overall, one great fork. Go buy one!
