Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:Very stiff. Nice looker - classy - 'PACE-like' nearly looks for less dosh than PACE. Performs very well, very adjustable for light to pretty heavy users - i.e. pretty locked out at max 45 psi. Also fact that they are low pressure designs means that pumping up is minimal effort, and low air-pressure designs handle bumps better than high-pressure air designs (apparently - I cannot verify this! since z2 is my first air fork). I like them alot. Very very plush, infinately adjustable... just right!
Weaknesses:Annoying to have to buy specific shock-pump. Also why do shock-pumps cost so much? If u try to pump these forks with a foot-pump or even some other brands of shock-pump, all the air escapes.. cos of various reasons..

No weakness other than having to buy a specific pump.

Bottom Line:Very good, best looking fork for money, excellent perfromance.

Bike Setup:

Bottom Line:well, in short, it is an extremely good fork, it is _so close_ to a coil sprung bomber it's scary, I mean you ride it and you go yeah, it's a bomber
it's not _quite_ as supple over the tiny high frequency stuff but it is really, really close, I honestly think it works better than any other makers fork, coil or air sprung, it's got the same quality damped ride.I am 200lbs and ran 30psi in each leg and minimal rebound damping.
at first I got on it and thought it was way too stiff, but I rode it around the parking lot for 10 minutes jumping up and down on it, stairs, etc..
then I let out all the air out of each leg then refilled to 30psi
ah.. there we goaccording to marzocchi you run it with 1/2 or so of sag just like a coil sprung bomber, great as far as I am concerned, that sag is so crucial to getting the thing to track and keep the front tire stuck to the ground, and that's what it does, just like a coil sprung bomberI have had a Ul92 and 72 in the past several weeks, this fork feels like a coil sprung fork, but you get a slightly more connected feel to the trail, kind of like a really good air/oil rear shock feels, like an air vanilla, really, really close to a coil bomber but you feel a bit more connected to the trail and the thing just responds so well to the trail and soaks it up.asthetically, I think it is sweet, the arch is a lot beefier looking in person than in picturesas for weight: I didn't weigh it but it feels about like the ul72, I would think around 3 1/4 or soI sincerely think Marzocchi has a winner here and has raised the bar for all suspension design (again), and not just for air shocks, but coil shocks as well.
