Submitted by Jarrett a Cross Country Rider from Eagle River, WI
Date Reviewed: November 9, 2001
Favorite Trail:winter park, Minoqua
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $250.00
Purchased At:friend
Strengths:Good for big hits, doesn't absorb the little chatter though. Easy to take apart and clean.
Weaknesses:The fu*ker broke in half!!!!! I didn't fall or jump anything on that ride and I got back and it had sheared off at the brace. In the process of welding back together.
Similar Products Used:Judy XC horse pucky, RST dog crap,
Bombshell bad betty (demo)(I wish i had the money for this!!!)
Bike Setup:Trek Y5, Full XTR, Goodwin Performance custom disks, Fox Clicker rear shock, Ti 5degree bars, bla, bla, bla.
Bottom Line:Good shock except for the braking in half part. Not sure when this happened but it was probably cracked and just snapped when i grabbed the brakes. (Goodwin Performance makes the best brakes in the WORLD!) One finger, totally linear, no fade, work when wet, no noise, I LUV em'!
Four ignited piles of dog poop for the shock!
(Its good enough to break in half and still get that rating)
