Strengths:
Super light weight, great looking for carbon fetishists they're carbon

The metal spring clips
Similar Products Used:
LX SPD, crank Bros. egg beaters, XTR SPD
Bike Setup:
Giant Trance0, Kona Kula Deluxe
Bottom Line:
Don't do it people, if you are used to Shimmano SPD then stay there. These pedals are light but the sring steel used for the catches are Grade 0 Chinese rubbish. I only had these pedals for 6 weeks. They did about 400kms of commute riding and about 100km Cross Country trail and one of the spring catches broke when I got out of the saddle on a hill climb and consequently left me crashing over the handle bars. I am really upset because my bike shop swore by these after I broke a spring in a Crank Bros egg beater that was 4 weeks old. Back to Shimmano and I'm never going back and neither should any of you.The SPD's are slightly heavier but last up to 10-12 years.
