Submitted by levelmanboy a Downhiller from Tampa, Florida,US
Date Reviewed: July 22, 2009
Favorite Trail:North Creek, Alafia River State Park
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1300.00
Purchased At:Oliver's Cycle Sport
Strengths:Everything on the bike is good. The wheels and tires are tough. The Dart 2 fork is actually all right. The rear shock I can't complain about. The brakes are quick and stop you when you need to definitely.
Weaknesses:The seat for sure. It is uncomforatble but you can still tolerable. But everything else works and are durable.
Similar Products Used:Kona Unit 2-9 Front suspension, Kona Dawg Deluxe.
Bike Setup:I switched the seat with a WTB. Switched the LX rear derailleur with an XT. I got a race face stem 120mm( stock is 90mm). Shimano clipless pedals. Race face handlebars. Ignitor tires 26x2.35 ( stock 26x2.1)
Bottom Line:This bike is absolutely awesome. The only reason why I switched parts out on the bike is because I had them already laying around. Great bike for the price!!!

Submitted by wcyoung72 a Cross Country Rider from cebtral illinois
Date Reviewed: July 18, 2009
Favorite Trail:Indy
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1300.00
Purchased At:Little Ades
Strengths:Excellent price and proven suspension. Useable components.
Weaknesses:At 32lbs its a bit heavy but doesnt really ride like it.
Bike Setup:stock
Bottom Line:The dart2 front is ok when setup right. And the Ario rear works like a much more expensive shock. If you can setup the breaks and derailers properly they wont let you down. For the price you cant beat this bike!!

Favorite Trail:anything that does not put me in hospital
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $1200.00
Purchased At:Pedal Power
Strengths:Excellent price. Good level of components. Bike geometry suits me and my riding style.
Weaknesses:Front fork is a little harsh over some trails, however works well overall. Especially considering price point.
Similar Products Used:NRS 2
Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:Would highly recommend, especially for anyone not able to break the bank, but who still wants a bike that will tackle the xcountry trails. Will make an excellent platform for years to come.
