This review is actually for the Leroi, the same as the King Supreme but with carbon stanctions. The best geometry you can find. Great Climber. Superb handling in the single tracks. The best bike for marathons.
The best bike ever, no doubt. This is one of those bikes you don-t understand why they stopped making them. Still today, it's lighter than most carbon dual suspension bikes. The best combination of materials, scandium and carbon. Simply the best.

Bike Setup:
I actully ride the Leroi which is the same frame but with carbom stays. Full Sram XO seat up Race face deus crank, ritchey carbon bar and seat post. Stan's ZRT Olympic disc wheels with Hope mono mini breaks and a fox RLT 80 up front. WTB every where else.
Bottom Line:
Ok first of all I am a XC racer first and foremost so my bike is built up with that in mind. It hits the scale at a solid 23 lbs in my 20 inch frame size. Racing mostly in AZ my parts selection is heavy duty, here it is ruff stuff and the bike has to reflect this. I am a total of 155 lbs on a good day so I don't hit this thing to hard. Of course I am comparing this bike to the soft tails and XC hard tails I have been riding up to this point. Really this bike kicks ass, I feel way more confident on the decants, I attribute this to the slack 69 degree head angle; this also allows me to rail through the corners epically at speed. For the climbs I don't notice a thing, the RP3 shock if seat up right makes it a breeze. For A ruff NORBA cross country race this bike kicks ASS, if you’re out at sea otter or something like that stick with your hard tail but for my money full suspension has a new convert and hey KONA has the best support and is the coolest company out there. They have taken great care of me and there bikes cut a trail like nothing I have ever ridden.

It's a great bike.The Fox RP3 is a breeze to setup.It does what you want and need it to do. You can't help but be a better rider this bike just gives you that much confidence.I can do things that i would never do on my explosif.My avg speed has improved and also my max speed.After along ride no back pain or any other type I could'nt believe the difference between the 2 bikes.

Strengths:
Climbs like a mountain goat. Sharp and precise in turns.
The first time I put this thing on the trail, I was amazed by its climbing ability. That was the first thing I noticed. But I soon after noticed that, with its shorter wheelbase and just-enough-for-XC travel, it cornered like it was on rails. It even reacted okay to sandy areas. The 2.5 inch travel does a great job of keeping rear wheel contact with the ground and softening the trail out with no noticeable pedal bob, even with the Fox RP3 Pro-Pedal turned off. This bike is not intended to be a Cadillac, so it doesn't ride like one. This bike is meant to be an XC rocket, and that's it.
