Favorite Trail:pig trails
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Purchased At:a bike shop
Strengths:perfect for dirt jumping, park and street.
Weaknesses:need a little maintenance but no problem
Similar Products Used:tioga surefoot
Bike Setup:black market mob and some other stuff.
Bottom Line:If you have these and haven't done it yet then you should take them apart, clean them and regrease them with a good amount of bearing grease and they will last you a lot longer. I rode these for a little over a month and the right pedal seized on me so I bought a new pair of pedals. I took apart the kona pedals and realized that there was almost no grease in there and the dust had gathered up and gunked up the bearings so they wouldn't roll. If you take care of these pedals they will last you. I tossed these back on my bike because I personally feel they have the best grip out there for what I do. They don't have too much grip. The pins are the perfect size. They are plenty strong. They have outlasted 2 sets of cranks. If you don't like maintaining your stuff then don't use these.

Favorite Trail:demo
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $30.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:cheap, good grip.. thats about it.
Weaknesses:destroyed the bearings in a month. they grind, pop, clunk, rattle, and drag now. the pins also started falling out. 1 month for a pedal is absolutely rediculous.
Similar Products Used:bunch of other platforms
Bike Setup:SC chameleon, fork, wheels, tires.
Bottom Line:if you want to waste 30 bucks, have at these pedals. the sealed bearing version is 20 bucks more or so, theres no reason to get the loose bearing version.

Date Reviewed: January 30, 2008
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $40.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Awesome grip, fairly light, look good!
Weaknesses:Blew baring in one of them, knocked off a couple pins... the "replaceable" pins on mine got filled with dirt/granite and are not-so-replaceable now.
Bottom Line:Great for the price, for them to last me a year was a surprise. I ride hard and they held up (for the most part).
