| | Similar Products Used: | LX, XT | | Bike Setup: | Kona 98 Explosif, Z2 forks | | Bottom Line: | Unlike Shimano stuff, it does not require any maintenance at all. Using replaceable cartridge bearings and a rather simple sealing system, it just keeps on spinning.
Replacement cartridge bearings are a little hard to find (SKF bearings), but you don't need them!
On the down side, I have noticed the spokes get bent at the flanges because the flanges are not canted towards the rim (like most hubs).
