$400.00 | | Purchased At: | The Bike Loft | | Strengths: | Decided to get back into riding recently. Love the bike, I tried a similar specialized model (i think it was the hardrock comp)the bike has a nice solid feel and has held up against some pretty nice wipeouts although my shins and knees havent. Overall great bike almost spent another hundred or so for the 2002 that includes rock shox judy and better components. But theres always the upgrade option. | | Weaknesses: | The seatpost sucks. I only weigh 150 and the thing busted. Luckily my bike shop replace it with a different one at no cost. | | Similar Products Used: | Trek 800 sport | | Bottom Line: | Sweet bike for those just getting into it. I wish it had a better fork but besides that great bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$525.00 | | Purchased At: | Bikes and More | | Strengths: | Great geometry, Climb like a goat, it handles traction power with minimum of loss energy | | Weaknesses: | It is desirable to have a 9sp cassete | | Similar Products Used: | GT idrive 5.0 | | Bike Setup: | Changes full component group to Deore and a Manitou Mars C, basically the only thing I used of this bike is frame, seatpost, stem, handlebar | | Bottom Line: | Its a great starter bike, and the frame worth the upgrade until youre ready to buy a 2500 dollar bike to race | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$230.00 | | Purchased At: | pawn shop | | Strengths: | This bike has a solid build. Decent Parts. Hell of a price. The Frame Is Bomb proof. | | Weaknesses: | Seat post Sucks Bad. And So Does Fork!!! But What Do You Want For The Price. | | Similar Products Used: | K2, Specalized, Trek, Diamond back. | | Bike Setup: | Thompson Post(Rules). Thompson Stem(The Best). 2001 Judy SL Fork. | | Bottom Line: | Bang For The Buck The Best Bike I Have Owned! The bike is built like a tank but also rides like one. The factory seat post could not handel my fat ass (230lbs)and the bike is heavy as hell i like it best for bombing down big decents | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
