$400.00 | | Purchased At: | Evans in Croydon | | Strengths: | seems like a really nice smooth ride. very nicely put together, looks very nice, and is as strong as a tank!
gear change is also nice and smooth in both directions | | Weaknesses: | chipped paint, does happen well easily.
All i have to do is drop my bike on it (the scabs my girls but i ride it too, otherwise it aint gonna get ANY proper use) and mine comes away with no marks and hers looks like its been shot. at close range. with a 12 guage!
| | Similar Products Used: | Fireball (mongoose) plenty BMXs | | Bike Setup: | standard | | Bottom Line: | Its a wicked bike.
I would recommend it over my bike (fireball) but then they are in different price ranges by about £100.
I have taken it out and thrown it about, jumped it, used it over obstacles and pretty much everything really and havent had a single problem from it
It feels like a much more expensive bike. It feels like a proper bike that wont break the moment you spaz it off a wall a bit wrong... unlike my arm:/
kinda wish i had got one of these actually but the girl got in the shop first and bought it and there was no way we were having his and hers scabs (sounds like an STI!!!)

$179.00 | | Purchased At: | Adrenaline Bikes | | Strengths: | Frame is REALLY Strong, Sweet Geometry, Easy to handle on obstacles | | Weaknesses: | Tire clearance is small, paint chips easy | | Similar Products Used: | Specialized P1 | | Bike Setup: | Scab frame 15", Maniotu X-vert, 2.5 Front Tire, Hussefelt Cranks, Sun Wheels, 8 inch rear hayes mechanical. | | Bottom Line: | I only bought the frame and built it up myself. It is super strong and has on-the-spot geometry. I would really like to get a fatter tire in the rear, (I run a 2.00 now) and make sure you get a chainstay protector because the paint chips easy. But those are the only real negative things about it. It is super stable when riding skinnies and logs and just looks badass. It was cheap too! I would definalty recommend it to anyone who wants a strong frame. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$751.00 | | Purchased At: | Halfords | | Strengths: | This is a great bike and is really cheap. Everything on it is great, the frame could fall off a cliff and not break. The brakes are good for V-brakes and the cranks are particulary could too- I like the bashguard. The fork is good but I'm still gonna get a dirt jumper 3. Truly awesome bike. | | Weaknesses: | Not much, just minor weaknesses- tire clearance really needs to be improved- can't fit over 2.1 (even the 2.1 catches the frame sometimes). Rims could be stronger (mine buckled slightly after going off a 2 foot drop) and the paint comes off easily. Other than that it's great! | | Similar Products Used: | 03 Kona Stuff, 24seven V4 Darkangle | | Bike Setup: | As new (im going to get hope minis and a dirt jumper 3 fork though) | | Bottom Line: | This is one of my favourite bikes. It is the perfect bike to upgrade, but it is also billiant with original parts. Thats what is so good I think- every one i've seen has been modified differently- some people have put on suspension, others disc-brakes. You don't have to upgrade this bike to make it good though. I've had this bike for 1 month now as new and all the parts are great. I especially like the bombproof frame, the grippy tyres, the brilliant V-brakes, the great pedals, the cranks and the cool handle bars (the list goes on). The minor weaknesses such as the tyre clearance only matter really to an absolute perfectionist. For normal people like me, there is nothing wrong with it. May I just say that this bike looks alot better than in magazines- the bike looks way better in real life. If you want a dirt/street/just about anything bike than this is for you, and if you want a more expensive bike, just buy this and upgrade it! And finally, lots of people say this bike is heavy, but it's by far the lightest steel bike i've ever seen. If you want it any lighter than you have to sacrifice the strength and get aluminium. This bike gets an 99.999% rating (tyre clearance, strong rims and chap-proof paint would give it the extra 0.001%) Best hardtail bike in it's range. GET ONE! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

this bike has great capabilities and i would expect to pay almost double for a frame like this. if you are an XC wanker then DO NOT BUY IT!! you will be sorely dissapointed! this bike is best for people that do alot of hardcore jumping, trail riding. also good for those all day epics and one sweet entry level trials bike (a bit on the heavy side tho'!) oh well.
it will be able to take all of the punishment you can dish out and as the years and $$$ progress and you upgrade everything the frame will always be there, hangin' in! another good thing is that if by some freakish occurence you manage to crack the frame then it is really easy to fix! just take it to the local auto wreckers etc... and get them 2 weld it up!!
this is a sick bike with a good parts package for the price and the oppertunity to get a bike like this should not be passed up. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
