$850.00 | | Purchased At: | on eBay | | Strengths: | Ultra Light- My bike weights 22.5lbs. with fenders. The frame looks good, internal cable routing is a plus. This bike climbs like a beast! | | Weaknesses: | A little sketchy on really steep downhills. The frame is really rigid, so it beats up up a little. Don't get me wrong, it is fast! For some reason it hurts my back a little on long climbs. | | Similar Products Used: | Schwinn, Cannondale, GT.... | | Bike Setup: | Manitou fork, Nuke Proof Hubs, Mavic, Avalon Crank, XTR chain rings, XT groupo, Answer bars and grips, Chris King headset... | | Bottom Line: | This bike rocks, pick one up if you can. These bikes are very versitle and very fast! Full suspension is overrated. I have another Klein Pulse II if anyone is interested. My friend doesn't ride anymore, and asked me to sell it. The bike is just as sick as mine, e-mail me if you are interested. vailje@engr.orst.edu | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

The Pulse was a great frame in 98 and the Trek 1000 series is at a lower level. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
