Duration Product Used:2 Years
Purchased At:Trek3, Singapore
Strengths:Stiff and doesn't flex like my GT. Climbs very well. Internal cable routing gives it a "tidier" look. Very good Klein USA customer service.
Weaknesses:"handcrafted lemon paintwork". Paint peel and chipped easily. Expensive. Doesn't lived up to its name as "handcrafted science". Terrible regional dealer customer service. Contraint to a limited Stem length. You can only use Icon MC3 and not other stems. Chain suck when it was still new. But ok after"breaking" in

Bike Setup:SRAM Shifter,RD and brake set, XTR cassette,Crank, FD
Bottom Line:I am a real sucker for colours and beautiful paintwork. I was literally enticed by my riding buddies Klein 95' Adroit and Attitude. And decided to purchase a Klein Adroit Pro 99 Team Lambardi issue.

The paint chipped and peeled on my very first road ride. I did not even have a chance to take it out on a offroad ride before i launched a complaint to Klein USA. Yes...Klein USA reponded promtly with a replacement lemon frameset. Of course , the replacement was no better than the first. It started peeling and happily chipping away each time i take it offroad.

It is 4 hours drive from where i stay to the nearest regional dealer and I have decided to put the peeling and chipping misery away by stripping the whole paint work and airbrush it to my personal choice.

For performance and handling, 5 chillies.
For "misrepresentation" of beautiful paintwork, 1/2 a chilly

Strengths:the paint job,the way it wants to climb anything, the weight noflex at all SWEET RIDE!!!!!
Weaknesses:Not much of a choice with fork selection on bars and stem unless you go with an adaptor.
Similar Products Used:Klein attitude
klein pulse (1996)

Bottom Line:As for the reviews that complained about the bad paint job,one of my three kleins had a the same problem it scratched if you looked at it wrong!but i later found out that it was a manuf. defect....all that aside the paint jobs are awesome.nothing but thumbs up..I could write all day about it. Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $1925.00
Purchased At:internet
Strengths:Bombproof, Not a better looking bike out there. Light and Nimble, Climbs like a billy goat. Solid on all terrain and conditions
Weaknesses:Paint scratches easily, Mantiou Carbon SX fork is unreliable
Similar Products Used:Diamondback, Specialized
Bike Setup:XTR, Rolf Propel Wheels, Manitou SX Carbon fork
Bottom Line:There is not a finer Aluminum hardtail out there. I have never seen a sexier looking paint job on a bike and fork. Bike handles perfectly and is indestructable. Climbs like no other and decends very well. Perfect for any XC riding or racing. Just like the Klein slogan says. Nothing Else Even Compares.

Favorite Trail:Mcritchie Opposite bank
Duration Product Used:6 months
Strengths:Light , Looks extremely sleek , Stiff , No flex from rear brakes , Colour
Weaknesses:MC2 not compatible with any other thing , Swopping forks is a hassle , I still cant seem to figure how the headset works.
Similar Products Used:Klein Pulse
Bike Setup:XTR/ESP9.0SL , Judy SL
Bottom Line:Great bike for the trails . It seems to fly up those hills .
Its feathery weight makes it oh so flickable . Its riding position is near perfect for racing , low slung , super aero. The ride though stiff , issnt as jarring as a cannondale or GT . The rear end smooths the larger hits . One problem is its extreme price , makes me think twice about riding a far too technical section . I fear hurting the bike ..... . Great bike .... a class of its own .

Duration Product Used:

Strengths:
This bikehandles great(even better than the other kleins I have ridden), and climbs even better, Plus I has a beatiful paint job, with a fork that is painted to match.
Weaknesses:
This is my secound one, I had the other one for more than six months. My frame broke where the recplacable derailure hanger is mounted, when the hanger was bent, but I had a new fuselage in a week(thanks Steve).
Similar Products Used:
Other Kliens, I loved them all.
Bike Setup:
SX Carbon fork, full XTR, Crossmax, easton CT2 bar, Thopson post, Advocet Ti rail seat, and silver Seferas gliter grips.
Bottom Line:I love this bike. I would buys this bike again if I had to. They fixed the proplem with the chain stays braking on the 2000 bikes so it is no longer a proplem. Also this bike is more forgiving than previous Kliens but still climbs as good. There is not hint of lateral flex. This bike corners extremely well the back end will drift before the front will. So if you are looking for a great bike to ride or race this is definatley your ticket.

Strengths:
Light, good climber
Weaknesses:
Paint job sucks big time.
Bike Setup:
Manitou SX Carbon
Bottom Line:The Manitou SX Carbon shock is useless it never worked more than 3 rides. My Klein has been in the shop for 3 months out of 6. And the paint job scratches from just looking at it. You would expect a decent paint job for $4000 bike. I'm selling it.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:
XTR R Derailleur
Similar Products Used:

Moots
Bike Setup:
Stock
Bottom Line:What can you say - this is the best sweetest ride available. Broke my third XT or XTR RD, one on this bike 2 on my other Klein, and replaced with a SRAM - why not give them a try? Love it. tossed on the EPS 9.0SL shifters and it is so quick and solid, lost a few ounces too. Climbs like nothing I have ever riden and goes down so smooth. The carbon SX fork is plush. You just cannot find a better frame. My times are not that much faster but the ride seems to be much more effortless. 5 big winning stars. Just buy the Klein and stop fussing over the other stuff.

Strengths:
Excellent!
Weaknesses:
The most Goddamn expensive hardtail bicycle out there!
Similar Products Used:
GT Zaskar LE Team, Trek OCLV
Bottom Line:This bike rides like butter! Those are the dues! The frame is seamless and flawless. Without a doubt, the most carefully and thoughtfully built of any manufacturer, hands down. Components are awesome, paintjob is shweeeeeet! But.....IT'S TOO GOD DAMNED EXPENSIVE!!!!! It's aluminum (granted, 6061 T6), but still, not titanium or beryllium! There is NO justification for a $3900 price tag for an aluminum bike! Klein makes the best frames, granted, but they're not that much better to warrant an extra thousand dollars from other manufacturers' top-line aluminum bikes. Klein just hikes up their prices because their name is Klein. I bought it because I'm a sucker for buying the very best! Therefore...as far as quality goes, this bike gets a perfect 5 chilis. As far as value goes, this bike is a complete rip-off.
