from St-Jerome, Quebec Date Reviewed: June 2, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | Bromont | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Precise handling, maneuvrability, simple suspension, no part mix, eats singletrack like hell | | Weaknesses: | 120 mm stem is too short (17 frame), weld are not meticulous, 853 tubing would have make an even lighter frame. Fast rebound in the rear when you use lot of tire pressure | | Similar Products Used: | Mongoose PRO SX 97, Ritchey superlogic tubing. That bike was light and smooth but the team's 1 inch of suspension make a world of difference! You can feel it ! | | Bike Setup: | Marzocchi Z2 superfly up front, Elastomer rear unit giving 1 suspension... cool | | Bottom Line: | Very pleasant to ride, forgiving as well as agile in the trail. A must have for XC racers! Pretty good trail bike too. Point and shoot handling. KHS knows about proper angles and design. 25 years experience paid off. | Overall Rating: |
