$5.00 | | Purchased At: | ebay | | Strengths: | it's light and minimal rolling resistance. it has a name recognizable by other mtbrs (respect may be something else). its really foldable. ad says it was good for mud | | Weaknesses: | forget summer riding on S. Cali trails. nearly killed myself. that means a no on sandy mixed with loose sand on hardpack. scary on steep descents and scary on small jumps (1-3 ft). NO LATERAL TRACTION | | Similar Products Used: | panaracer fire xc pro (awesome!) wtb velociraptors, other kendas and chen shin tire | | Bike Setup: | a rocky mountain soul and a trek 4900 and a k2 zed 2.0 (go hardtails!) | | Bottom Line: | not for summer riding. its 1.95 is simply too small. if you value your bike (or life) do not put in the front tire. will be taking out and replacing after this week (i will give it a week to see other qualities of the tire). may work with mud so i am waiting for winter to check it out. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Milwaukee Date Reviewed: April 27, 2007 | | Favorite Trail: | Crystal Ridge | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Purchased At: | Wheel & Sprocket | | Strengths: | Great for mix of road and gravel. Able to grip through light snow covered paved trail. Whoops. | | Weaknesses: | Haven't found any yet. But then again, I haven't used on any "real" trails. | | Bike Setup: | Trek hardtail, Duke fork, full XT and a cheapo wheelset ($50) | | Bottom Line: | Good tires for the price. No problems with them. I wouldn't suggest buying these for those who ride in a lot of rocky conditions. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
