absolutely incredible, its too bad kenda doesnt make this tire anymore. I've been riding this tire for 14 months with NOT A SINGLE FLAT. I've also been riding trials for 17 years, this tire is beyond perfection. I've even intentionially tried to pinch flat it and it still won't budge. If the kenda rep sees this this, the kollosal rocks beyond my career.

point and shoot, pick your own line, make your own trail toughness. Pretty resistant to flats. Floats and grabs in the sand, pass your buddies while they get off to push! Honestly air down, and aim for the sand just to show off. They're incredible.
Weaknesses:
Tires are Heavy! feels like i'm peddling a motorcycle. side walls cracked right about where the sidewall rubber and tread rubber would join. Made my tires get wider and rub on the frame.
Similar Products Used:

Bike Setup:
Giant DS3 Warp, Fox float RL rear, blown out front suntour fork, mostly stock.
Bottom Line:
Jump off anything you want. Ride through the same stuff you'd point a dirtbike through, bushes, baseball size sharp rocks or whatever, 2 reliable no flat years. All this tough has a price though, weight. The bikes pretty fat at 37 lbs. Handles the big stuff, would go much smaller and lighter for x-country.

SUUUPER grippy. SUUUPER cheap! tough sidewalls offer great stability on everything. Climbing (yes, climbing) is excellent in most any condition, except for wet and loose mucky stuff.
Weaknesses:
Heavy for FR, but average weight for DH. an aramid or kevlar version would be very nice.
Similar Products Used:

Bike Setup:
AS-X, Fox 36RC2, hope m4's, Atomic hubs, Intense rims
Bottom Line:
I have a hard time justifying the use of any other tire for my rides. It's a great stiff yet forgiving tire that will last a long long time(unless you were to get the lower durometer tire). So far I've been running very low pressures without any flats. This tire will help you climb most anything. For some reason doesn't seem as wide as a 2.6 should be; maybe it's just a perception issue, as the Intense inner diameter rim size is a very wide 39mm. That surely helps in the stiffness of the already stiff tire.
And for $5/tire, it's practically unbeatable.

Bottom Line:
Very impressive. I bought the set of 2.6 front and 2.35 rear at the 24 Hours of Adrenelin race for $20.00 at the Kenda booth. The performance is excellent. The stability on loose and dusty Big Bear trails was much improved over the Intense 2.7 I replaced. The 2.3 rear looks small at first, but there is no loss in performance. I run Kenda's front and rear and have no plans on returning to the Maxxis or Intense set up. Running pressure at 22 psi worked best for me@ 162 lbs. It's also nice to have equipment no one else has. You dont see these tires on many bikes. Great look with the oversize white letter logos.

It's big and beefy. I really liked how this tire performed in wetter conditions.
Weaknesses:
Traction in other conditions is less than par.
Similar Products Used:
Any DH tire made by Nokian, Maxxis, Tioga, Intense, Conti...
Bike Setup:
Free ride Santa Cruz Bullit.
Bottom Line:
Usually I wouldn't say I have a good enough base to write something on a tire I've only used less than a month. But I had to warn others about this tire.
The price was unbeatable, for DH treads. I paid $20. For $20, I can't whine too much. However, the performance outside of wet stuff was so bad for this tire there is no excuse. Case and point, it's cheap mans DH trends. The new KHS less than $2000 fully equipped DH bike boasts these tires. You get $20 worth of performance out of them. They kinda gave a vague gripping feel in fast corners, not giving me the confidence to really get over on the side lugs fearing the whole bike would whip out from underneath me. The treads did brake well, and seemed to be fairly durable.
If you need a tire but don't have the money to take out a loan for a DH tire, this will get you through. But if you've ridden on good quality DH treads before, you won't be satisfied with the tire performance.

Great tread pattern gives grip on hardpack, mud, loose dirt, and technical terrain: basically anything. huge size acts as extra suspension on my hardtail @ 45 psi, a very very hard tire that will take some serious abuse and keep you from getting pinch flats
