Very easy to bunnyhop and manual. Never tried it. Bought mine as a frame. If you do that, this is probably one of the most inexpensive and high performing urban/freeride hardtails out there. I'm incredibly satisfied with it, especially considering that I spent no more than about $500 to build it up. (You can look at it in the Gallery). I had alot of the parts already, but even so, on a bike like this, don't waste your money on the drivetrain, get a good fork, wheelset, crankset, stuff that will last. Also, if you ever get bored of hucking or getting some air on this bike, you can always raise the seat and enjoy some singletrack. It's very versatile. The fork I think does not have enough travel for a HT, I've upgraded to a 2004 Psylo SL. | | Similar Products Used: | Rocky Mountain Flow | | Bike Setup: | 2004 Psylo SL, Hayes mech, might get Holzfellers, the rest is stock. | | Bottom Line: | The bottom line is, this is a sweet HT, I've dropped 7' with it and I know it could easily go bigger.
K2 should have picked another Crank and Fork, the crank, I think, should be a Hussefelt or something, and the Fork is great, but not for a this HT, get yourself a Psylo, Z1, or a Sherman, something with 125-130mm.
It is a great whatever bike, it has felt great for XCs, DJs, and FRs.
K2 made a BIG mistake when they stopped making this bike.
If you can get this bike for under $700USD, I would, you will not regret it.
Just throw another fork and crank on it and your set to go, for pretty much anything.

the only thing i can say is that this bike is awesome for what it is and for what i paid for it. ive taken it on some big drops, and some sweet stairs, wallrides, dirtjumps. pretty much i abuse this bike.

The rims and tires are very wide witch is excellent for balance. the stock head ste is wonderful, Over all i think once upgraded the bike's a beast !!! | | Weaknesses: | i think that the stock shocks (Manitou black 80-100 mm) had to little travel. I also didnt think to highly of the stock crank since it broke easy. Needs stronger back rim as well as the chain. For the time that i've ridden, this bike has shown none of the above problems. For my style of riding (urban assault, dirt jumping, agressive XC), and my weight, i think this bike couldnt be better. The only problem that i've had lies in the brakes, though it isn't really justifiable to blame the bike on those. I've always had problems with V-brakes and the fade you experience during heavy application. This is nothing wrong with the bike, just a component issue.
