$800.00 | | Purchased At: | SouthWest Cycles, Maine | | Strengths: | Very light, good component mix (xt rear, deore front), RS susp seatpost, Manitou Magnum R and lets not forget about the Avid mech disc brakes!. Bike loves to climb! | | Weaknesses: | Welgo pedals, SDG Saddle | | Similar Products Used: | Rockhopper Comp | | Bike Setup: | Stock, except for a $3 Jamis Gel Seat (thank you JensonUSA) and a set of Time pedals. | | Bottom Line: | An excellent bike for the money. The bike is holding up well after 6 months of hard trial riding. Have read negative reviews on the Manitou Magnum R fork but have had NO problems what so ever. The Welgo pedals had to go after two runs thru the springtime "mud" (very difficult to clip in once the mud caked everything). The Time pedals work flawlessly in any condition and would highly recommend to all MTBers. Overall an excellent bike for the novice/intermediate biker looking to spend less that a grand. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
