Strengths:
A VERY LIGHT BIKE W/GOOD COMPONENT GROUP. EXTREMELY STIFF FRAME WITH NEUTRAL HANDLING TO CORRECT MY ERRORS. THIS FRAME HAS OVER 12" OF BB HEIT TO CLEAR MOST OBSTICLES
Weaknesses:
I BROKE THE CARBON FIBER PART OF THE FRAME. I HOPE THIS WAS JUST A BAD LAYUP WHEN THEY FORMED IT. JAMIS DID SEND A NEW FRAME FREE OF CHARGE, HOWEVER MY CONFIDENCE IS GONE. I AM A CLYDSDALE @ 6'2" 205# AND I DO NOT GET A LOT OF AIR. I REALLY WANT THIS FRAME TO WORK SINCE THE GEOMETRY/HANDLING IS GREAT.

Strengths:
I have been riding this bike for over a year. It works great however I made few upgrades to it. Those upgrades made the bike even better. The frame is very stiff and strong. I broke number of bones but nothing on the bike.
Weaknesses:
I managed to bend the der. hanger, which I replaced with titanium one. The cable guide inside the frame had snapped off since in the early version was glued. Jamis FedEx me the new part the next day! The new part has a screw and works well. The only two complaints I have is that Jamis swing arm does not support international standard for disc breaks. The adapter is a pain to get. Also the frame in large size is a bit small (I’m 6’) compare to other bikes. I had to get 1-inch kick back seat post.

I have changed every part on this bike and the setup is perfect. XTR 99, Mavic 317 disc, Hope XC4 disc breaks, Z1 130mm, Hope hubs, Chris King headset, XTR rapid rise (I love this thing!)
Bottom Line:
Whit this setup there is no better bike! I love this frame.

Strengths:
Well matched components. Initial worries about the toughness of the carbon fiber frame (unfounded). Reliability of frame and brakes.
Weaknesses:
Frame initially had a crack in a cable guide (not a crack in the frame itself. Jamis replaced the entire frame (at no cost to me).
Bike Setup:
Shimano XTR, Manitou X-vert, Sun Rims, Salsa bar, Fox Air Shock. MTB Velociraptor tires
Bottom Line:
Although an expensive bike, you get what you pay for. I have ridden the bike almost two years and 1,500 miles. I know it is going to get me home. I am continually amazed at how it makes up for my errors in judgement by allowing me to ride over my head and not get seriously injured.

Bottom Line:
current setup- Carbon fiber, diablo frame, Marzok Superfly, XTR drivetrain, Fox air, Mavic Cossmax. Overall wieght according to scale in shop says 24.5 lbs. Review- As expected the carbon frame feels very stiff, however pedal induced bobbing is felt specially in very low gears. The bike climbs beautifully, but isn't extremely stable at very high speeds, although that's not it's main purpose. I'll blame that on the geometry layout. With my limit exposure to the bike it may be unfair to give a true review, but at this point, I'll rate it at a solid 3 chilies.

Bottom Line:
I just got my hands on new Diablo frame that looks great. The whole bike is extremely light only 25LBS. All components are XTR, Z2 Atom Bomb and Spinergy Spox wheels. The carbon frame is very light only 5.5 LBS and also very strong. The rear shock (Fox Air) which is inside the frame works excellent. The bike feels very fast and stable at high speeds. I just went riding once but will update you soon on my progress. I strongly recommend this frame not only for looks but also for performance and the quality of the fiber.
