Submitted by KrAZy KarL a Racer from Stevens Point, Wi, 54481
Date Reviewed: March 26, 2003
Favorite Trail:Porcupine Rim
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Purchased At:Hub City
Strengths:Smooth on the downhills, shoots right up the inclines, Flows like warm butter on toast through the tight stuff...
Weaknesses:None yet
Similar Products Used:Trek Hardtail
Bike Setup:2003 XTR, 2003 Crossmax, 2003 Skareb Super, Eggbeaters, Thomson stem and seatpost, the stock stuff...
Bottom Line:Took it out to Fruita and Moab last week and could not have been happier with it. They say steel is real. I thought that the ride was less harsh then my old alumium trek was. I would buy this bike if you enjoy a quality ride with the best components. The Everything worked well. I'll let you know what happens when race season starts :)
