$750.00 | | Purchased At: | IONICBIKES.COM | | Strengths: | near perfect welds, great geometry, shock asorbing,bb is stiff tracking is awsome, killer breezer dropouts | | Weaknesses: | decals are cut rough water bottle mounts are not welded there inserts | | Similar Products Used: | nothing like it ! had 2 aluminum ( canondale & kline),3 steel( s works,shogun,serrotta),3 carbon(kestrel & specialized epic mtn ),and last a trek y33 full sup. | | Bike Setup: | xtr brakes, crank, shifters, derailurs, race face taperlock bb, ti bar,ti post, white hubs, mavic 517 sunsets, sid sl fork avocet o2 seat, yeti grips,858 pedals, all gore tex cables | | Bottom Line: | I went from a unifided full sup.& my epic hard tail to this bike, and I cant even begin to say enough about how much I LOVE THIS BIKE. I have over 400 miles on it already and can say its the best bike ive ever owned bar none.pinpoint accurate under hard braking & cornering. Im not racing anymore ( did for 8 years ) and I was concerned about being comfortable on a metal hardtail. WHAT A PLEASENT SUPRISE. TI IS EXATLY WHAT EVERYBODY SAYS ABOUT IT "MAGICAL"! CLIMBS BETTER,DESCENDS BETTER,CORNERS BETTER,ABSORBS SHOCK BETTER,than ANY outher bike ive ever ridden! Trails around Boise are super fast and smooth, our average ride is around 30+ miles road and dirt combined with about 2500 to 3000 vert. With this bike I dont need full sup. anymore. totally sweet ride for a FRACTION of the cost of a merlin,seven,moots,etc..Ill bet if you blind folded those riders they would never know the differance ! Im going to buy my wife one and still be ahead if Id bought a seven! PLUS enough left over for post ride cold micros all season ! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
