Favorite Trail:too many to list....
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:Steel.
Team Mango Orange to avoid being shot during hunting season looks great. Price.
Climbs like a mad goat in heat.
Weaknesses:Nothing worth noting.
Similar Products Used:93' Specialized Stumpjumper
96' Specialized S-Works
98' Litespeed Ocoee
Bike Setup:Okay, it isn't a "Team" build kit because I just bought the frame. Here goes:
Z-2 X-Fly
King/Valiant/DT custom wheels
99' SRAM 9.0 SL
CODA Tarantula crank and XTR bb
Titec Big Al stem and C-191 seatpost
Flite saddle
Easton CT2 bar
SRAM 9.0 levers and Avid SD-1 brakes w/ Ionic Major Stiffy

Bottom Line:This bike is great. I have been on one and only one ride this year (3 hours long on Antelope Island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake) but it has already proven its worth. As mentioned, it climbs like a mad goat and picks its way up technical climbs with aplomb. Very stable at speed due to longer top tube and shorter stem. On technical descents, just point and shoot. Oh, its Reynolds steel, not much else to say about that. It is a little soft when the going gets rough and really helps the back on long rides. Mine built up to 23 lbs. Not super light, but definately raceable and reliable. It does make me miss the sub 22 pound Litespeed a little. Alas...
