Bottom Line:
I bought the Steelhead as a frame only. This bike is soooo sweet. The Reynolds 853 frame is light for steel and very compliant. It won't beat you up on the rough stuff. I really like the geometry of the bike. It has a long top tube which allows me to use a short stem. It climbs well without the front end wandering. The 2000 LX stuff is really nice also. The crankset is extremely light and stiff and won't drain your wallet. I got the frame for $400 and it's well worth 3X that much. This would make a great bike for the serious racer because of it's ride characteristics and for the weekend warrior because of the price. I definately recommend this bike. Call IONIC NOW!! You will not regret it.
