Submitted by Steve a Racer from Boulder, Colorado
Date Reviewed: March 14, 2001
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Purchased At:from Ionic
Strengths:Superlight frame and you can replace the dropout if you break it
Weaknesses:Try to get a drop out if you need one.
Similar Products Used:Dean Jester, Kona Explosif
Bike Setup:Full XTR, Sid Race, Speedplay pedals, Easton CT2 bars, Thomson seatpost, Flite gel saddle.
Bottom Line:This bike know how to climb. Get out of the saddle and hammer and this bike will beg for more! Good on technical downhills, tight singletrack, and racing. Great XC racing frame. My bike weighed in just a hair under 23 pounds. I heard that Ionic sold to some other company but I'm not sure.
