    Favorite Trail:mine
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $35.00
    Purchased At:cost
Strengths:abilitly to run low pressure and not flat... really low pressure,18psi. good tread pattern on the edge and 2.7 , huge difference in traction braking turning, while racing down hills that are wet and muddy in comparison to other tires.
Weaknesses:heavier than other DH tires but worth the wieght for the improved traction.wear out to fast if used everyday.
    Similar Products Used:tioga 2.3's
Bike Setup:sixxer, bomber and flats. 2.7 front 2.35 edge rear.
Bottom Line:these tires are excellent for nasty terrain. the soft rubber compound and super tough sidewalls = traction that is second to none.racing with these tires is a dream, you dont need to second guess there abilities, they allow you to worry about other things like, the trail.

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $29.00
Purchased At:WheelWorld in Culver City, CA
Strengths:- Great sale price for DH tires
    - Reinforced sidewalls require minimal tire pressure
    - Ultra soft 50 durometer = excellent grip and added shock absorption
    - Sure as hell beats the WTB Motoraptors which were stock issue on my SC Bullit
Weaknesses:- Wear factor is great (Duh, it is a very soft compound)
Similar Products Used:Nokian Gazzaloddis - Jr and S
Bike Setup:2001 Santa Cruz Bullit w/Freeride Package
    Marzocchi Z1 MCR
    Intense DH 50 tires - 2.7" front, 2.35" rear
Bottom Line:Like I mentioned earlier, the sale price was probably the only reason why I bought these.

The knobs are very soft and pliable - traction is amazing. However, it took me a couple of runs to become accustomed to the tires - the bike, tires specifically, give an initial "twitchy" feeling when tracking through ruts or making sharper turns. Once I realized that the bit of give was just the knobs max-ing out in their flex, I was happily surprised to find myself making tighter turns and faster speeds than ever before without loss of traction.

The reinforced sidewalls not only help prevent pinch-flats but also substantially soak up hits and bumps when flying down a hill or fire road. I don't recommend using a set of plastic tire levers with these - straight out aluminum levers from you local MotoX shop.

The tires and DH tubes did add some weight to my Freeride SC Bullit - totaling at 40lbs but the downhill and single-track rides are much more enjoyable.

    Favorite Trail:
    SideO
    Duration Product Used:
    less than 1 month
    Strengths:
Corner extremely well, always predictable, grip on almost everything, and over roots, they are freakin amazing
    Weaknesses:
wear within a couple races, SUCK in leaves, but all tires do
    Similar Products Used:
IRC, Tioga, WTB, Michelin, etc etc
    Bike Setup:
Santa Cruz Super 8, X-Vert Carbon, D321's on Hugi's, RaceFace cranks, XTR
Bottom Line:The bottom line is this, These Tires Freakin FLy. They corner like a dream, and they are so damn predictable in all conditions, EXCEPT LEAVES, where they fly all over. Tight fit on my rear end, but by far the best tires I have ridden in a while, just be ready to buy a couple pairs

    Duration Product Used:

    Strengths:
    Great Traction
    Weaknesses:
    Cost, weight
    Bike Setup:
    98 Klein Comp stock w/
    minor adjustments
Bottom Line:They are a little tight in this frame, but I was able to get them to work w/o rubbing. They are downhill tires and a little heavy, but I don't notice it any more. The knobs wear down quickly if you skid on rough terrain. This is my fault though. They don't corner as well as I would like, but I am satisfied overall. I put them on Mavic d571s which made a lot of difference. The tires are too massive for lightweight rims. Buy some nice beefy rims if your going to purchase some! Have had no flats since I bought them. They are a little hard to get on/off until you get the hang of i t . You will feel in control and
    confident on steep stuff.
