Submitted by Matthew Ocwieja a Weekend Warrior from Boston, MA, USA
Date Reviewed: August 31, 2006
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $20.00
Strengths:Cheap, works great, plastics are high-quality soft-touch feel
Weaknesses:no pressure gauge, easy to tip over
Bike Setup:presta valves, 700x23c 120psi
Bottom Line:I have loved this pump over the last few years. Yeah, it's plastic, but the plastics are quality plastics, and it doesn't feel cheap to me other than the light weight. The small footprint means it's easy to tip over when you're not using it, but of course it won't tip over when you're standing on the foot pads. I finally decided to replace it with a pump that has a gauge because I can't trust my pinch test. Wish the local shop had one of the gauge versions of this pump. If you don't need a gauge and you don't feel the need to spend excessive money on an aluminum pump, buy this one.

Date Reviewed: May 12, 2002
Favorite Trail:Any
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $29.00
Purchased At:Bike Zone Rt 27, Princeton
Strengths:Light weight, large gauge, long air hose, dual stem fittings, all parts are repaceable, price
Weaknesses:Light weight, all parts are repaceable, price (you get what u pay for)
Similar Products Used:Topek, Blackburn
Bike Setup:Kona Cindercone '02 Stock Set-up
Bottom Line:There is a reason they made this pump with easily replaceable parts, they break. I've had this pump for a week needed to use it 4 times. Went to it for the fifth time for my wife's Giant and noticed the point that pushes the valve stem in has been pushed back deep enough not to come in contact with the tube's valve stem. I'm going to replace this part and see how the pump as a whole stands up to the rest of the season. 4 flames value for only costing $29.00 compared to $40.00-$50.00 for others. 3 flames overall -until I see how it holds up
