Strengths:
Terrific components for a $600 bike. I bought to replace my old street bike which was too fast to ride with the kids. It's perfect for that, and I find that it has some solid capability on the trails as well.
Weaknesses:
None really. The adjustable front fork seems a little gimmicky. It's neat and all, but it's not easy to adjust and I'm not sure it's worth it.

Looked at Trek and Gary Fisher at my LBS. Loved the GF but had a bad salesman. I talked to Ibex and liked them, so I tried their product. Good move.
Bottom Line:
Bottom line is that this bike was just what I needed. A comfortable bike on the paved paths around Cleveland with enough capability to ride a trail when the opportunity presents itself. It's also a standout frame that looks different from other bikes -- the shape doesn't seem to affect the way I ride, so why not have one that looks cool? Ibex is a great company to work with -- I had a lot of trouble with the front brake, and they sent me a replacement rotor for no extra charge. They stand by their products, and it's worth ordering from them if you're looking for a bike. If this experience goes well, I may upgrade in a few years (if I have the chance to ride some trails).

Strengths:
Fit my needs perfectly, paved paths with the kids and moderate off road. Good value.
Weaknesses:
None yet, like it.

Bottom Line:
Needed one bike for city and trail. So far the B-27 has been great. Have only ridden 40 or so miles on some fairly nasty trails and another 30 on the road. I actually prefer it more off-road. The adjustable shock is nice, I'm on the heavy side so usually leave it on the stiffest setting. Ibex did a nice job answering my questions and making frame size recommendations. Bike was shipped quickly and packaged well. Took it to my local shop and they were great at dialing it in for me(also wanted their opinion on fit and value). Thanked them by purchasing accesories and pledging to use them further, which I will do. Bottom-line: I'm no biking purist and needed one bike to do pavement, gravel and moderate trails. The bike has performed very well (better than the rider)and is exactly what I expected after my research. The price is a fair value, especially when compared to the local monopolistic chain (Bike Gallery, Oregon). I took the plunge and bought off of the internet, I'm glad I did.
