Strengths:
For the price this bike is awesome. I'm confident it would have cost $1500 -$2000 if purchased at a bike shop. Ibex only sells direct and therefore saves you bucks. My bike shop was pissed that I didn't buy from them. After a recent tune-up they told me it really couldn't be any better after i asked for a recommendation on parts I should upgrade. They told me it was a lot of bike and I will be happy for some time to come. It's true the bike components are sweet and nearly the top of the line in each brand. Customer service on the Tech side is great to deal with and Jack the owner is very friendly and informative. A nice American independent company that produces tough affordable MTB's.
Weaknesses:
A bit on the heavy side. My buddies all have carbon or aluminum frames and they cruise uphill a bit faster than me. However I think the weight and durability adds some fun when nailing out the extreme downhill rides.

Bottom Line:
This bike rips and is worth the money. When I upgrade I will first look to IBEX. I'm hoping by then they have a carbon frame that weighs less.

Strengths:
Nice smooth ride...components work well together...downhills are a breeze. Customer service was awesome. I am 6-4, 225 and this thing handles everything I throw at it.
Weaknesses:
A little bit on the heavy side...mine is the largest frame they made and it is 32 and some change

Bottom Line:
I picked the bike up on sale...I think the normal price is 1199 or something like that. It is a great bike...especially for the money spent. I would consider buying a road bike from them if they offered one in my size...5 chilis!
