Lots!
Duration Product Used:
Less than 1 month
Strengths:
I am an avid mountain biker and wanted to introduce my 10 year old daughter to trail riding. I stumbled across this company while browsing thru MTBR.com. We purchased the bike for my daughters birthday and the bike is incredible! Excellent quality with great components. Also, very well packed and was easy to assemble and adjust. IBEX also has excellent customer service if you have a problem.
Weaknesses:
None that I found!
Similar Products Used:
Jamis Fester SX, Target and Toy R Us models
Bike Setup:
Stock, probably won't ever need upgrade!
Bottom Line:
This is a serious entry level mountain bike for your child. Much better quality and lighter than the local Wal-Mart, Toy R US and Target models! If you are serious about getting your child or midget a real bike, I totally recommend the IBEX 440K.

Strengths:
I did a lot of reasearch before buying this bike, and I not only think it's the best child's bike available, but that it's also an incredible value for the money.
Weaknesses:
Based on my first few days with it, there are no great weaknesses. My daughter is still on the small side for the bike, so I could say the stem is too short, but she will grow into it. My only complaint is that Ibex should provide better assembly directions. I didn't have any problems, but a less bike-savvy buyer could be intimidated. They should at lease provide a print-out of the brief directions from their website!

Bottom Line:
First, it's beautiful. Well made, carefully painted, and spec'ed with an incredibly high-quality selection of components. Just one example - there is no other 24-speed, Rapidfire shifting kid's bike! It's light, lighter than my daughter's old 20" steel Gary Fisher. I put it together, and it worked perfectly.
We took our first ride yesterday, and my daughter was riding comfortably, and then enthusiastically, after less than a minute. I can tell that she'll get about 4 years' use out of this lovely bike before she outgrows it.
The price that Ibex is able to offer is the topper - It's comparable to the much more generic offerings from the big guys, but the quality of the components handily exceeds their bikes. Only the Hotrock comes close, and my money's with the (cheaper) 440k.
If you think your kid deserves a real bike, take a close look at the 440k. Or how about the disk braked version?
