Favorite Trail:You Yangs
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $150.00
Purchased At:Ebay
Strengths:Beautiful feel. Its like having the brakes plugged into your brain. Just need to think about stopping and the bike begins to slow. Over the bars stopping when you clamp down, great release, and drag free running.
Weaknesses:None yet - aparently howl when wet, but I havent seen that.
Similar Products Used:Magura Louise, HS22 Rim brakes, all kinds of Vs.
Bike Setup:Avanti Competitor Hardtail - XT, Hayes, etc
Bottom Line:Feel, feel, feel.
Thats what I love about 'em. Groovy in the gravel and sweet on the single trail.
Super easy fitting, and did I mention feel?
Wicked.

I can see why the downhillers love them.

(PS - awesome site. A bible when it comes to checking out MTB gear)

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $250.00
Purchased At:Spiderbike , Este, Pd, Italy
Strengths:Powerful
smooth
reliable
Weaknesses:Some "zing-zing" which I can hardly eliminate, maybe have to burn in the system a little bit more
Similar Products Used:First Disck system. Great positive experience with Avid V-brakes
Bike Setup:Kona Mokomoko with Crossroc UST disk wheelset, Hutchinson Scorpion 2.00" Tires.
Bottom Line:Maybe too early to evaluate properly, but this morning under a heavy, heavy rain and down a steep descent I really enjoyed the reliability and power.
