Favorite Trail:Carmei Yosef
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:Strong and very planted frame. Not top of the line but Reliable, long living components. Great Value for money.
Weaknesses:Heavy, but somehow you don't feel it while riding.
Not very popular brand, you won`t get any admiring looks.;)

Similar Products Used:Marin Rift zone 2007
Bike Setup:Spank stick, DH Gap stem, Rear XTR Derailler, Wellgo pedals.
Bottom Line:The extreme 6 LT/Comp is an anomaly. It is a glitch in the system. Here is a great bike with a high upgrade potential and a reasonable price, that for some reason, most riders, rule out without even checking.
so...if your looking for an aggressive all mountain/Free Ride Lite bike, and money is an issue, look no further, this is the one for you.

Favorite Trail:Rocky Ridge (all of them)
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1500.00
Purchased At:Ed's Ski and Cycle
Strengths:Frame
Weaknesses:Brakes, they aren't horrible but I'm going to upgrade to Juicy 7's or something comparable.
Similar Products Used:This is my first FS ride.
Bike Setup:Stock for now
Bottom Line:I bought this as my first FS bike and I wanted something that could handle more than just XC. I've taken drops and downhills on this bike and have had zero complaints. Seems like the faster it goes, the better it turns. It's not the best climber but it's geared toward gravity and still climbs everything in my area. I love this bike! I will eventually upgrade fork, brakes, and maybe shifters and derailleurs but only if something breaks. I'm glad I went with this one and would recommend it to anyone.

Date Reviewed: March 11, 2008
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $1300.00
Purchased At:Arrabidabikes
Strengths:Great frame for abused riding. It can handle a more agressive freeride for a 6" bike.
Weaknesses:None
Bike Setup:Marzocchi 66 sl Ata, Rodi Dh rims with Atomlab hubs, Rotor's Q-rings double chainring, Truvativ Hussefelt bar and stem. All the rest is stock.
Bottom Line:Awesome bike, corners very well at hi speed, and can take all sort of jumps. Very reliable and confindent.
Its a little bit heavy, but, like others have said, if you are looking for a good freeride bike, with a great price and decent components, this is the one.

Favorite Trail:Hartshorne
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1125.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Strong frame, great suspension, Can take abuse, the compenents are not top of the line, but are very reliable and sturdy.
Weaknesses:None
Similar Products Used:Haro V2
Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:This bike is great, it handles single track exceptionally and absorbs eveything. On downhill, the suspension gobbles up everything and keeps you confident. I went to Diablo Downhill FreeRide Park and took a few hard falls, the bike took a few hard landings, but looks as if nothing happened. Everything still works outstanding.

If you are looking for an all mountain/ Free ride bike, look no further. This bike is designed to take a beating, however it is heavy for XC.
