Date Reviewed: June 5, 2009
Favorite Trail:Plattekill
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $1699.00
Purchased At:Greenfishsports.com
Strengths:Climbs well for a bike it's weight, but goes down even better. Once you get the suspension dialed, it works very well.
Weaknesses:Had to tighten the nuts/bolts on the linkage once, but that was it.
Similar Products Used:Iron Horse Warrior
Bike Setup:2008 Xeon-s, x9, laserdisc wheels, juicy 5's
Bottom Line:I've used this bike for anything from xc to lift accessed downhill at Plattekill. It's a bit heavy for long climbs, but you can drop in the granny ring if need be. I've run it with the stock float 140 r fork and a 160mm vanilla rc2 and it's worked great with both. For the price, it comes with a great set of components as well.

Favorite Trail:Managerial Park (Canada Rd.)
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $1800.00
Purchased At:bicyclewarehouse.com
Strengths:Great Specs. for the price, great on descents, and has a comfortable yet responsive feel, for the price its an awesome bike
Weaknesses:its about 5 pounds too heavy, its maybe a slightly above average climber and had the virtual link rear suspension fowl up on me with in the first month of riding but once that was fixed it has been a great machine
Similar Products Used:tested Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert, and have owned other misc. mountain bikes over the years
Bike Setup:As is
Bottom Line:Its a great bike... It's a little better going down the slope than up the slope but its probably a ratio of 5:4 (5 descents to 4 climbs) and for the price and the components that come on it, its really a steal of a bargain

Date Reviewed: September 4, 2008
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $2300.00
Purchased At:CRC
Strengths:Climbs fast, descends super fast. Strong, pretty light for the travel, looks great.
Weaknesses:None so far.
Similar Products Used:Orange 5, Specialized pitch pro, Elan able one, ...
Bike Setup:Rock Shox Pearl 3.3, Fox 32 float RL, truvativ stylo 3.3, Sram x-9 shifters, WTB Wirewolf 2.3, ...
Bottom Line:Bottom line is that I've tried a lot of bikes to get to this one, and this is the first one that I felt truly comfortable on both the climbs and the descents. I liked all of my other bikes, but this one has all of those wrapped up into a single package. And it looks great too!

Date Reviewed: May 9, 2008
Favorite Trail:Moscow
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $2042.00
Purchased At:Velomir
Strengths:Great all-around bike, good handling, jumpy, vpp suspention works great, active and smooth suspension even under braking. My first FS bike and i'm really satisfied with it.
Weaknesses:As for me: i changed handlebar cause the stock one is too short. After the change was made, it started ride and jump great. Fox Float R fork IS NOT PLUSH as written in reviews, RS Psylo SL worked much smoother. Same model in 2007 had better components only for 300$ more!
Similar Products Used:Tested Specialized Bighit'06, Enduro'06.
Bike Setup:Haro Xeon Comp'08
Bottom Line:It's a great bike that padals like hardtail with RS Floodgate adjusted to maximum and still eats midbumps. With Floodgate fully opened it uses all 160 mm of superplush travel and stucks to any trail. Great bike! Never thought Haro could make such a brilliant bike! I recomend it to those guys who enters the world of full susps with small budget. 5 star!
