Favorite Trail:idk yet
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $960.00
Purchased At:bike works
Strengths:The x6 has a alloy frame made for strength and also control. Its a pretty light bike and has pretty straight parts and components for the good price. it can handle alot of hell before an upgrade but after a few upgrades like Wheels, bigger fork, maybe hydraulic brakes and you'll be striaght.
Weaknesses:snapped the hangar off in a week of having it but that has nothing to do with the quality of the bike
Bike Setup:5-6 in. travel. 140mm bomber fork. alloy frame. hayes Mx4 disc breaks. nothin fancy
Bottom Line:Good strong bike for beginners but can rise to the challenge if you decide to step it up and go bigger the x6 is more than capable after two or three upgrades

Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $600.00
Strengths:The frame seems pretty strong
Weaknesses:Everything except frame! i've changed every single part on the bike after only one year; crankset twice!! wheels, gears and so on.
Bottom Line:i still guess it's ok for a first bike if you don't wanna spend the money for a real bike.

Favorite Trail:NOBLE, anderson,
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Purchased At:Inkeys
Strengths:Solid frame and great geometry. I turned it from xc to gravity slolom bike. put a fox rp23 shock in the rear that made it a 4 inch bike. I ride HUGE dirt jumps and mild downhill on her. finally had to replace the rear shock mounting bolts after 3 years.
Weaknesses:The rear end is a bit wide and if you get too gnar, you can smash your knees. thats with some extreme riding though.
Similar Products Used:specialized sx
Bike Setup:hush hush. shimano components, easton bar/stem, fox suspensions.
Bottom Line:This bike is a top of the line shredder. you'll break bones in your body before you break your bike.

Favorite Trail:too many to list
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $1100.00
Purchased At:local
Strengths:frame is bombproof, rims are tough as single tracks, most of the parts.
Weaknesses:fork reallly sucked, wasn't enough travel, and was too stiff, stem was waaaay too long cannot dh with it, rear skipped around on the rough stuff. a little heavy, but oh well.
Similar Products Used:heckler(hecklers waayy better for the money), bullit, ect.
Bike Setup:stock except, stem(50mm), fork (sherman 170mm), peds (wellgo), f. rotor, changed to an 8", eventually wheels
Bottom Line:really awesome bike, i know i just complained about it a lot, but really those things were pretty minor. if your new too f.r.-ing it's the bike for you, if not save up for a bullit.

Favorite Trail:Hall Ranch
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $360.00
Strengths:Even though the brakes are mechanical, you can tune them so they bite. Dependable, just minor adjustable problems arose.
Weaknesses:The Nevegal Blue Groove tires dont shed mud well and my rear one tore on a ride. My headtube might have gotten ovalized b/c my bottom bearing plops out. Waiting on Haro whether to get a new frame.
Bike Setup:Stock...
Bottom Line:Recommend it, just shy of 37 lbs. It wouldn't hurt to lighten, if you have the money.

Favorite Trail:all of them
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $350.00
Purchased At:EBAY
Strengths:This frame has never failed me or had me questioning its integrity, only that of the components installed on it.
Weaknesses:Does bob a bit, but it is basically too heavy to pedal quickly up any major ascents anyow... not to mention that you can pretty well contain the issue if you learn how to pedal....
Similar Products Used:None similar, so to speak, but my last bike was a heavliy upgraded GT avalanche 2.0 set up for all mountain...
Bike Setup:RockShox tora 302 uturn, rhynolite XL 36's, Maxxis 2.35's, hussefelt cranks w/ bash, syncros bearhug hd stem, diabolus bars....
Bottom Line:I really like this bike and have- on several occasions- found myself spending almost more money on upgrading its components than it is worth...then again, it has never shown that it was not worth the compnents i installed... A fun bike to ride, at a great price, with a bit of versatiltiy for anything from EXTREME xc, to light/smooth freeriding... i can only imagine what an X7 will do....1.5" headtube, 7" travel and an 8" fork capacity....Now that is freeride- and at this point, I'd at least feel safe with Haro producing the bike I could try to kill myself on....I'm on;y rating it a four overall because I know there are better bikes out there- i just haven't found/ afforded them yet....$$$$$$$$$$$$(i wish)

Favorite Trail:Anything With DirtRocks or Stairs
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $800.00
Purchased At:cycles unlimited
Strengths:Very strong frame, wickes welds i really like the stock steup. Brakes are good for around town riding.
Weaknesses:Will replace the scram x-7 dont like how they downshift when you huck or your hand slips but it IS fast and good shifting. The rear shock was good for the bike at the price paid, however i am a little bit hardercore than most. Will upgrade the fork and maybe the brakes, kinda like those mechs though. other things like the seat and the handgrips have to go right quick, would suguest something from KONA but that is me, you are you. but seat has to go, will make your aussee numb right quick. Other than that i cant complaine, this bike delivers.
Similar Products Used:giant vt 1, the kona coiler delux
Bike Setup:Stock, softer spring in rear a used set of bommers that a fellow shop rat gave me, kona grips and a wtb seat.
Bottom Line:The botton line is; get this bike if you are smart. I live this bike (1) for the inexpensive entry cost into the sport (2) the great way it handles in cornering (3) most of the stock components are great, i would recomend pugrading to the Marzocchi Roco and a bommer fornt fork. replace the grips imeadatly. Other than that this is a great bike for the money,(note to prospetive buyer, if you HAVE money like 2-5 grand get a kona colier delux or a kona colair delux. If your looking for the best cheapest bike this is it.

Favorite Trail:New jersey Pipeline (DH), Cannonball trail
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $750.00
Purchased At:Albert's Westwood Cycles
Strengths:Great rear shock! Takes 10 foot drops like nothin'. Great freeride/DH bike. Frame is bomb proof and shifts like butter.
Weaknesses:Brakes squeek a little and fork doesn't have enough travel.
Will upgrade to a Marzocchi Jr.T or Rock Shox Boxxer. Then it will be the ultimate freerider!
Similar Products Used:Nothing matches up to the Haro X6!!!!!!:D
Bike Setup:Stock, will upgrade fork and brakes soon.
Bottom Line:Great bike for a great price! An affordable solution to get into the wonderful sport of freeriding. Dont get this bike if your a crazy cross contry racer because it a little heavy. Don't waste your hard earned money on something else, get straight to the point with a Haro Extreme X6. You will not be disapointed!

Similar Products Used:Cannondale Gemini 900
Bike Setup:All stock but ill b getting the Sherman Breakout for the forks pretty soon... maybe sum hydro's
Bottom Line:Insane bike for the buck... Couldnt ask for a better bike for the ammount of money paid... Its not a downhill bike... but it still works amazing if u get sum new forks on it... Freeride is amazing... It has perfect balance, No problem balancing on a log/beam with it... Rides a wheelie like nothin... great stopping power... I highly suggest you buy this bike!!!!
