Bike Setup:New back rim, new breaks, new handlebar, new pedals, new pegs...everything else is factory
Bottom Line:Great bike, but i still would not sugest it to a total beginer cause it might happend that the bike would seem to heavy. I was really impressed when i saw how easy it is to grind with that bike...the control of it in the grind is amazing!!! I personaly think that this is the best bike you can get for that money...I know I am not going away from Haro anymore!

Date Reviewed: June 26, 2006
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $400.00
Purchased At:peddlars niagara falls
Strengths:frame, crank, brakes..
Weaknesses:heavy pegs. mediocre handlebars.
Similar Products Used:gt performer from the early 90's
Bottom Line:the last person that reviewed this bike must be an amateur/on crack cuz you do NOT buy a bike and expect the factory parts to be the best.. ive been riding bmx since i was 5 and im 28 now and id have to say this is an excellent bike. things i will be changing are the handle bars, pegs and pedals but other than that its a pretty sweet ride.. i come from the ol school bmxer time when everything was REALLY heavy and that made us better riders now..anyways i reccomend this bike highly, anything will break if you abuse it and BMX riding is all about abuse.thanks for reading..

Strengths:frame strengh, tires, grips
Weaknesses:WEIGHT, rims, bars are week, both alex's suck... DONT RIDE DOUBLE they bend. breaks are soo weak no stopping power, the hubs suck.... the axels snap if you grind with them. and the pegs snap off. the chain snaps even though it is really thick and the pedals have NO grip.
Similar Products Used:none

Bottom Line:if this is going to be your first bike DONT BUY IT. its really crappy and heavy. this is a beginners bike. its really crappy and everything breaks. Date Reviewed: August 6, 2004
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $275.00
Purchased At:GoldCross
Strengths:Smooth ride, solid feel, good brakes, solid pegs, 3 pc cranks. pretty sexy looking bike too
Weaknesses:bit heavy for my girly arms, but then i've had all Alu frames until now. Mushy rear brake
Similar Products Used:Powerlite P40 Warhawk, Mongoose Expert 04
Bike Setup:All stock so far, might change the rims (purely for aesthetics).
Bottom Line:Beautiful bike. Having ridden an Aluminium frame bike for so long its a bit tough getting used to the Chro-moly again but all in all i like it. It has a more hefty, soid feel than my previous bikes and looks like it'll stand up to a lot of abuse.

Favorite Trail:Urban for sure be-otch
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $300.00
Purchased At:sports Traiders Vic B.C. Holla
Strengths:Mine is a 2004 F4, this bike is tight, brakes and sticky, frame is good size for me (6'2"), light weight and strong, thick double wall rims and fusion 3 peace crank. killer street bike.
Weaknesses:Cant really think and any weaknesses yet
Similar Products Used:I rode a 1996 Gary Fisher Air Bob Flatland/street bike for about 4 years. also had a diamond back venom and a peace of sh!t cheap a$$ shwin.
Bike Setup:All stock, no need to change anything yet, what may have potential could be brake cables, leavers but basically stupid sh!t.
Bottom Line:The bottom line is that this bike i totally worth the $450 canadian, solid crank, dope colours to choose from, comfortable ride as soon as i jumped on which is hard to find for me, even the seat is decked out with finger grooves underneith for some killer grababilty. I wouldnt recomend this as a bigginer bike because its just more then any beginner could need, deffinetly a step UP from the 2003 model with the improved crank.

this bike is just cherry

But the F4 2003 is an awesome bike!!!!!!!!!!! People who really like BMXing should get this bike!! And the people who are just begineers should get a begineer bike even though is a good one for begineers!!!!

Favorite Trail:whatever I can find
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $299.00
Purchased At:Bow Cycle & sport
Strengths:Y2k Bars, strong frame, tektro U brakes are pretty good, seat is pretty good, not too heavy, a very sick bike (i took all the stickers off of mine as well and it looks rad) a good solid bike for any level of rider.
Weaknesses:1 piece crank set, lame stickers, bars could be trimmed down a little bit
Bike Setup:all stock (minus stickers) plus Har0 3 piece crank set
Bottom Line:This is a rad bike overall. I personally had some doubts about Haro (I heard some not so good things) but I was very suprised, this bike holds up very well to all the abuse i put it through. A strong vert bike that is also very strong on the streets, if you have been thinking about picking this up...go out and do it (and get a 3 piece crank while youre at it) you won't be sorry.

Favorite Trail:street
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $260.00
Purchased At:Modern Bike
Strengths:Strong durable bike...crashed it plenty of time and the worst is just a small chip out of the cap on the handlebars..good intermediate bike for the price..good brakes plus they come in good colors ;)
Weaknesses:not the best bike for flatland..but then again its not a flatland bike. Kind of heavy
Similar Products Used:Haro F3
Bottom Line:Good intermediate bike and not overy difficult to pull off flatland tricks on given some practice..i seemed to have problems with whiplashes and manuals on this bike but after 3 weeks ive gotten the feel for them again. I dont suggest getting this bike if you are a beginner a Haro F3 would probably suit you much better plus they are cheaper. and so far its taken all the abuse ive thrown at it and all it has to show is a few beauty scratches and a small chip, but above all dont get a bike based on a review get something that suits you and you feel comfortable on. What i feel good on you may not.
