Date Reviewed: February 5, 2005
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $300.00
Strengths:i just want to say that the revo i have is the from the fist year that they came out with it. the forks are the strongest part of the bike i found they havent bent or even dented after a couple years of pretty hard abuse. the frame is also light and smaller then normal frames so its good for those starting out.
Weaknesses:the frame is to small for anyone who is above the 5.7 hieght its not even a 20 inch frame. the pedals lasted 3 days then broke and on my model the one piece cranks bent in a week. you might also want to consider buying a new wheels and stem.
Similar Products Used:norco nail, gt vertigo, speacialized 415
Bike Setup:gt tubular three piece cranks and sealed pedals some double wall rim on the back and a haro heffer2 rim on the front.
Bottom Line:good bike for begginers but not for anyone one the taller side or into doing crazy grinds or big ramps.

Favorite Trail:N/A....Ride Flat
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $240.00
Purchased At:Scakville Bike Shop
Strengths:Good beginner bike, works great for flat and street, but slightly heavy for trial riding. Good rims, Sweet bars, 3 piece crank(Fusion), Seat Post(Fusion) and a few other goodies.
Weaknesses:I found the stem became stripped after only a few months of riding. Plastic pedals and i have had trouble with the brakes other than that a great bike.
Similar Products Used:Free agent Air Raid, Hyper Demo.
Bike Setup:Diamond Back front loading stem, shortened the length of the Slim Bars, Fusion 3 Piece Cranks, Fusion seat Post, rest of it stock Haro parts.
Bottom Line:All around good bike for whatever you ride. A quality bike if your willing to put the money into it, but otherwise good for beginners and if your on a tight budget. I have had good luck with it for over 3 years now(besides the brakes) and anyone claming that the Revo sucks probaly cannot ride and has no idea what a good bike is...even with the quality Revo sitting under thier ass.=]

Strengths:the bar it comes with(slims) are ok but i recomend better, such as s&m slams. it is quite durable for a beginner bike. if you customize it, it will rock
Weaknesses:frame cracks too easy, i bought a fbm old boy frame instead. those gay plastic pedals, buy dk iron cross. buy 3 piece crank

Favorite Trail:street, backyard
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $220.00
Purchased At:Cyclery Usa - Riverside
Strengths:rims, frame, bars, wieght, tires, easy to get used to, seat, forks,
Weaknesses:Grips-started to wear out in 2 weeks. 1 peice cranks-ive already gone through and bent 2 cranks so far going to get 3 piece soon. plastic Pedals- they suck feet slip off very easy and wear out too fast.and a very small stem. plus the brakes they wear out too fast
Similar Products Used:Redline pettycash(piece of crap), Haro Backtrail X4(sweet), Haro F5(good),Freeagent Trailduster(good), Haro F3(same thing as revo just new name and made a little cheaper), DK Sixpack (awsome!)
Bike Setup:sun triple wall rims, new haro grips wit metal plugs, haro kneesaver 2k handle bar, haro f/s stem, primo seat, gt metal pedals
Bottom Line:pretty dope bike, but if it is stock it cant handle too much ,but once you to have triple walls and metal pedals it will take any thing you throw at it.i will also reccomend getting 3 piece cranks because if you jump 15-20ft like me u will need them. perfect for beginner and for intermediate riders. if you are semi-serious about riding this is your bike too and if you are someone who will give a bike a good beating and fall off 2 story buildings grinding or whatever, this bike is not for u. overall awsome for the price and it is not cheaply made and slapped together parts like some bikes ive riden Plus its a HARO. Nuff said

Strengths:The frame is defintely the strongest component. Light feel to it after you take the pegs off, haven't bent my one piece yet and I've hit 10 foot jumps w/landings
Weaknesses:THE PEDALS SUCK! More often than not, your foot will slip off a landing, or if you have the slightest bit of dirt or water on your shoe you can count on your foot making with the slippage.

Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $250.00
Purchased At:Trails
Strengths:Frame, Forks, Bars, Sprocket, Pegs are all really really strong.
Weaknesses:This is a follow up to my previous review. This stem is wayyy to small. My bars shift alllll the time when I jump stairs. These rims suck! I friggin bunnyhopped and the rear rim bent! The front one bent at the park because of a crappy joint... For 1 peice cranks the cranks are strong... however I can feel bearings in my bb starting to grab... so I'm gettin a 3 piece soon.

Bottom Line:If you don't plan on riding it very hard then go ahead and buy it. Otherwise see if you can get it upgraded before you buy it. I have to say though for the amount of money I paid ($400 CAN) it is a pretty good deal.
